  • Are they called MrsShankles?

  • I think if you look towards northern Europe instead of the US you'll find better references and goals.

  • This comment scares me

  • Totally fine. Containerization comes at a cost too. It's a matter of system design, knowing your risks and complexities, and handling them accordingly.

With such a size, before containerization I'm wondering if these services are not independent enough to split them onto multiple servers.

Having everything together reduce system complexities in some ways, but not in other ways.

  • I hate this terminologymaxxing, too. /s

  • a default-disabled prototype

No wonder it didn't show up in normal/enduser release notes.

This article suggests you have to disabled Enhanced Tracking Protection to test it. Does it replace that entire system with an equivalent system?

I'll wait until it's stable and productive.

  • It's so stupid in Germany. It was state-owned. Then, privatization and Telekom expanded into other nations. In Germany, it violates net-neutrality, and sends repeated lying, misleading, and pressuring door-to-door marketing. For a premium cost, you don't get a premium service. Worse, it's still so big that it affects infrastructure over the whole of Germany. Insane.

  • ISP name?

  • No need to trust. They gave very concrete references that would be easy to check.

  • The EUID effort is based on and for consolidating existing national solutions as well. They didn't start from scratch.

  • You can do it, but noboy has so far

What's your assessment of the German eID and AusweisApp2 that has been in use for many years?

  • Why do they source-link a random Twitter post but not the security researcher report nor the app the whole article is about? Every link is to their own articles.

  • I am confident it won't take my job. I don't have a backup plan.

  • But is there also an option to show only shorts? Real free choice settings would offer that.

  • That doesn't sound like a web developer but like a web destroyer.

  • "I am an independent contractor and technical MVP in whatever and am happy to help."

  • This is about Google Search specifically.
