  • Funny, their lawyers say otherwise:

according to the lawyers, their families weren't given a choice, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers stalled their efforts to make arrangements for the children, ensuring they would be sent away with their mothers.

Now, who is more likely to lie… multiple individuals who have zero connection to each other, or an administration which has been caught lying before and is headed by a convicted felon.

  • I get the point but this will just result in a “official act” response and a hand wave.

  • Eh, it’s a fine line tbh. Not that I enjoy defending Google.

You get both “this UI hasn’t changed in a decade” and “this UI is perfect never change it” in relatively equal amounts. The rest honestly don’t care either way.

  • While I agree, where do you start if you have zero clue on what exactly you’re trying to accomplish? An LLM is fine for quick search and summary, then read through the applicable data.

  • I’m not a prepper and have both a gasoline and solar generator. Generators arent just for preppers, they are commonly owned in areas with regular power outages, for example.

And honestly, solar panels are so common these days you could rig something up with relative ease with a basic understanding of electricity.

  • Solar generators exist, and are relatively inexpensive for smaller units.

  • They’d need to interact with a woman on a personal level to be able to accomplish that.

  • Oh look, yet another “but the liberals” comment from this account, who would have thought?

  • Sheesh, you’re living in the stone age my dude.

  • To be clear, and I’m not defending what has happened, this was an immigrant with protected status. That isn’t the same thing as a citizen, or even a legal permanent resident.

But to your point, I don’t think that distinction matters much any longer.

  • If I wasn’t salaried I’d be down. But I’d need a new leisure activity since gaming is my main one.

  • Sir, this is a Wendy’s.

  • I keep trying to learn that, but keep forgetting. ADHD is rough. X.x

  • I’m sure this has uses, such as creators making videos. But yeah, normal people don’t really have much use for this.

  • Eh? Whore is pretty ungendered.

  • Oh sweet Jesus yes we did. I’d have voted current Fetterman over Oz any day of the week.

  • I mean, who was his Republican counterpart? Because I feel like Fettermen would likely be better than them.

Not saying I don’t wish there had been a different dem candidate in his place, but you can’t really fault voters for not realizing he was a bait and switch. Be it intentionally or the stroke.

  • Pardoning contempt at the federal level is a constitutional crisis in and of itself. There’s nothing that explicitly prevents a pardon.

  • I mean, yeah. Then promptly pardoned.

That’s the fucked up thing about this. The president can order his people to do things illegally in an “official act” and get immunity. Then pardon the people who do his illegal stuff.

The “checks and balances” require republicans to oppose their king. That ain’t happening.

  • Ngl this feels like arguing semantics.
