  • I know this is a late reply but smack talking your friends is one of the best things about sports.

    Like as a Nebraska football fan back when we were big 8/12 one of our main 3 rivals was Missouri. Had a friend through Xbox live that developed into a actual friendship. He was a Missouri fan every year wed make a bet on the upcoming season. There would be times we wouldn't even speak to each other during that game week and the trash taking commenced once it was over.

    It's just busting balls. I remember being on my honeymoon walking the beach in Mexico with my Husker hat on when a 70 year old woman yelled at me that Nebraska sucks. She had her Oklahoma shirt on

  • Man I've been lucky then. I've lived in se Nebraska all my life. Tornado warnings are a common occurrence here. Towns near me have been hit. But I've only ever have seen one in real life from about 5 miles away. Just going across farmland

  • I mean I live in Nebraska so outside of tornados, hail, downpours, thunder-snow, 90 mph wind gusts, and extreme temperature changes over 24 hours ive seen mostly everything nature can throw at us.

    I guess the weirdest was this one. In Nebraska weather at least during heavy thunderstorms comes from west and travels east. Sometimes from the south and sometimes north but never from the east.

    This one came from the west, went east. Stopped, went back west with no precip and sat there building for a couple of hours. When it finally pushed east again. It was one of the hardest rainfalls I've ever seen

  • Ok this is going to make my head spin. But im Guessing the religious nutjobs who think kids are a having gender reassignment surgery and get outraged about it are also the same people who are ok with genital mutilation, mostly on women, due to religious beliefs.
