  • I do this exact thing on my network so I know it works, but why are you trying to downgrade https to http? if you've set up dns-01 properly it should just work with https.

    how did you configure dns-01?

  • is there no mic/video testing functionality?

  • the part I stole from stackoverflow and the part I stole from reddit:

  • helix users try not to react when their favourite text editor is mentioned challenge (impossible)

    btw helix is epic

  • the issue's gone now

  • servo's development seems a lot slower tbh

  • and you to your parents' basement?

  • every person of a particular age is the exact same, as we all know

  • jxl gang rise up

  • minecraft modders?

  • it's kinda funny though

  • oh does 5500 not have pcie4? that's crazy wtf

  • oh yeah pcie3 is pretty old by now I guess, and I just realised that the 6600xt is one of the cards that have pcie4x8, I wonder if that'll have an effect.

EDIT: Thanks, it does look like using pcie3 has a measurable impact on the 6600xt, so I'll probably be shilling out for a b550 board. it's not that much more expensive anyway

Anyway those AM5 builds are more than 2x the price of the AM4 builds, so I'll probably settle on AM4 for now

  • I can get the other stuff sorted but cpu+gpu+mb should be < $500.

I've had a look at am5 but it seems pretty expensive?

  • where are you having performance issues?

  • I've only ever run Intel so continued platform support is kinda foreign to me lol, and yeah I'm on a pretty tight budget.

I just had a look at an AM5 equivalent build, but it's another $140 (which is 2/3 of the cost of a future am4->am5 platform upgrade) and I'm not sure I'd be upgrading that soon. I'd have the option to upgrade to a 5800x3d anyway.

    Is my thought process cooked?

  • the old one is so much better
