  • Don't do it. Stay strong!

  • I'm 53 and I haven't watched broadcast news since the 2000's.

  • ...get caught and wrapped around the opposite leg/foot...

I see. The tripping issue comes from the interior leg fabric. That makes a little more sense.

  • I am saddened by the steep decrease in sewing machine quality. I wish I had kept my mother's and grandmother's Singers after they passed. Built to last multiple lifetimes without snapping a thread or missing a stitch.

  • Seriously. I'm a man but my mother and grandmother decided to teach me to sow as a kid for reasons they never explained in life. The first thing I thought was that this is just a skirt with extra seams, act accordingly. The second was that these women aren't getting their clothes fitted and hemmed, as one should always do.

  • Wide-legged and flowing, they are causing a storm on social media, with people posting videos of the fabric getting caught in escalators and causing painful trips.

Have skirts not been a thing before?

  • It worked in the US for many years...quietly. Ask Boomers, Gen-X, and probably Millenials how much their University of Puerto Rico education cost them, and you'll mostly get a big fat $0. For a long time, UPR price per credit was closely tied to federal Pell grants. The grant check, which applied a vast majority of students, would cover credits and books most of the time.

  • Apple's app store policies were set by Jobs. Probably why they didn't get pinched like Google did. Slick fucker.

  • Yes. It's there. Just super duper tiny.

  • Photo of the violin being played.

  • "Glassholes"

    I remember.

  • Mr. Worldwide Bald Caps

  • Multiple administrations didn't take Israel's bait (the last attempt was during the Biden admin). The US intelligence agencies and the military have long advised against external actions towards Iran for this one single reason (the straight). Trump and his brain dead cronies are the first, thanks to ignorance, incompetence, hubris, and unadulterated stupidity.

  • Forty years of fascist white Christian nationalist rhetoric from the Republican party?

  • The genocide thing is a wash because both Democrats and Republicans have a hard on for Israel. That said, Democrats were willing to fund Ukraine's efforts to defend itself while Republicans are full on in Putin's pocket. There is just no way to argue any thing close to an equilibrium between the two.
