    It's funny you say this, because nowadays it's hard to actually find stuff on Reddit. So many comments are collapsed and so few are loaded that it's really difficult to actually follow conversations. Add in NSFW posts and posts in small communities not even being viewable outside of the app (at least on mobile).

  • I preordered Spore back in the day. The galactic edition. As a teenager I kept it visible on my dresser as a reminder to never preorder games.

    That passage you quoted is not giving guidelines on how to treat slaves, it is a parable using slaves as an example. Not saying the Bible is totally anti slavery, the second passage being pretty disgusting.

  • There's a phrase that is still very close to that in some company statement still, I sort of view it as pointless to talk about. We know they're evil by their actions, and they were evil before they removed it in sure. If the statement is what matters, it's still basically there, just not the motto. It's just not worth worrying or talking about. They do so much worse shit. A friend of mine was recently let go after protesting about their response to the genocide in Gaza.

  • So, unironically, I do plan to request Firefox with uBlock Origin as a reasonable accomodation for my ADHD if I'm not able to use it at a job in the future. Banner ads are genuinely distracting and I have a real disability that makes them worse for me.

  • Then say something. I have a cat and a dog. They're both amazing. They are both loving and loyal. They play together so well. My dog needs to chase my cat to get hyped to eat, my cat knows and plays along. My cat lets me know when the dog is on the porch and wants back in. My dog cobs my cat.

    Cats and dogs are both fucking amazing. Insisting one is better than the other is foolish. We are blessed to have such amazing creatures in our lives.
