Its kind of a dick move to start writing hate comments under a comic that you find mildy displeasing.
Generally, here there's less annoying people, and I'm less likely to see a dipshit again, so I don't block much. On tumblr and mastodon? Anyone who's slightly annoying gets blocked. edit: seeing some of the comments here has me rethinking this.

they haven't updated it at all, despite lots of big and obvious changes.iirc, its a bit useless, and can't be used for anything.
Kagi's lens are the equivalent of custom feeds for searching (i think, I haven't used kagi). But yeah, ddg bangs basically just jump you to a search page on a website.
I try to ask questions here instead of reddit in the hopes that lemmy will pop up in google for someone.
I'd say having those groups isn't bad in itself, but they should crosspost posts to and from the small groups.
Kagi (paid search engine, haven't tried it myself) has a fediverse forums (lemmy, piefed, mbin) lens.
Yeah, I know about the mbin thing. I do check it once in a while out of curiosity. Though, its not accurate (because of federation) and its harder to check, which can discourage people.
While it has a smaller userbase, the nerds and linux users are more concentrated here, so there's still a lot of people who can help.
She has posted a lot about other stuff, I don't see that many about this myself.
