I'm surprised that he finally boxed someone that isn't retired. Like Mike Tyson is fit, but old, and the mma guys are retired (and mostly grapplers so somewhat disarmed in boxing)
Dotnet being free and open source software is great though.
One reason why I am taking some interest, I primarily use Linux. Tho it does seem like its mostly MS that pays for the development and I do wonder if they might pull the plug and just focus on Windows. I wouldn't want to start a project I can't continue or focus on developing skills that are get tied back to a proprietary platform or something.
I see, do you think C#/dotnet is still going to be relevant? It seems like they keep getting better behind the scene and have matured to be more than just windows java. I have fallen off programming and am looking to give myself a project to get back. I was thinking of learning dotnet and using avelonia to make some guis.

Even if everything the pig says is true the lack of standardization of ICE lends its self to impersonation. Many places have all kinds of stand your ground and self defense rules that say "if you feel in danger". I am surprised we have not had such a case yet.
I didn't say the situation was ideal, just to be productive about where we are. From the person i was replying purist world view graphene os shouldn't even exist if its not going to be a full OEM from the start.
I stand by what I said, done is better than not. Its really frustrating that even my fellow lefties on lemmy would rather complain rather than make incremental progress to the society we want.
We may have to forgo some convenience, but its hard to say where. I'm not going to stop living with out electricity and water, but missing out on tap to pay with my phone was okay with me. Its up to you to see where you are and how you may persuade others.
