  • believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.

This has caused a huge amount of problems in the last decade or so, and isn't necessarily something to celebrate.

  • I can definitely sympathise with that.

  • The actual ads I don't have any strong feelings about, the ones sponsoring creators are the ones I look at sideways.

  • Maybe this will cause more people to look into making their own Peertube instances. But who am I kidding, normies usually don't like hosting communities themselves...

The "normies" don't even know what that means. I get this platform is full of techy people and out of touch with the typical technology user, but Holy shit this is on a whole different level.

  • If I'm going to spend a few years of my life in full time study, I'd expect there to be a payoff in terms of future income.

Learning for the sake of learning is good fun, sure, but life is expensive.

  • I really should watch this movie.

  • Satire is dead, it's no longer possible to top the absurdity of real life.

  • Hugely popular, mostly with a bunch of dorks nobody likes that much.

People are getting the message now, but when it first came out, there were so many posts about what ChatGPT had to say about the topic, and the posters never seemed to understand why nobody cared.

  • Because pretty much nobody wants it or likes it.

  • So what's the alternative? How else would a professional artist make a living?

  • I genuinely feel like I'm talking to a wall here.
