the original post strikes me as shit stirring. I just opened blue sky for the first time and there was nothing "toxic" it was mostly landscape photos, memes, cat pics and news.
If I'm going to comment then I read. Always seeing mfs asking questions answered in the article or raging about shit they imagined based on the headline alone. It's embarrassing
Something like this. Not springy but rigid. They sometimes come in a set of increasing heights so you can train your jumping height/endurance/speed/etc. A great thing to have if he's at all interested in track and field, basketball, skateboarding, parkour, or really any sport that involves jumping.
I used to have a blast working on my jumping when I was in high school. It's a crazy good workout and feels good to progress in I think.
I know you can get them at Walmarts and Dick's if those exist where you are but they're sold many places I'm sure.
mirrors don't really show you candidly in profile too, you gotta bend weird to see the side of your body and you can't really see the side of your head. I saw a candid profile photo of me once and realized I was way fatter than I thought I was and had shit posture. I've lost weight since but my posture is still real bad. I got fuckin nerd neck!!
I was just thinking about this because I've been going through and blocking every political community. I've found that when that is gone, there's really not that much left aside from random technology focused stuff, some memes, asinine twitter screenshots, and a fuck ton of linux stuff. And the comments sections of seemingly unrelated posts often devolve into political shit slinging. I'm on an instance that blocks lemmygrad and hexbear so I can imagine it's far worse for the ones that don't. I'm starting to sour on lemmy too because there's basically nothing here of interest to me anymore.
nursing home. seeing two underpaid, coked out CNAs joke around as they stuff into a body bag the naked corpse of a man you were talking to 10 minutes ago really alters your perspective on life.
yeah but it showed what you're talking about. he's a destructive force of nature that can cause great misery even when he's trying to do the right thing
