The only weirdo I know that blocks people left and right is one that signs every comment with a "no AI license" thingy. Anyone that correctly comments how that's useless/pointless because bots ignore that is blocked
It certainly feels a lot like reinventing the wheel. Although I can't think of specific server software that works in a similar fashion, I wouldn't be surprised if those have existed since, dunno, 2008
Somewhat related, I recall Michael Bell talking about his experience with Soul Reaver, shortly after release. The voice of Raziel couldn't get past the jump part of the tutorial and just gave up
Brazilian VAs also have all sorts of crazy mashups, like Goku, Spongebob and Sean Austin (Samwise Gamgee) all being dubbed by the same guy.
On the other hand, we often see the same character ending up with different voices if the show goes on long enough, like Homer Simpson having 3 different VAs (1st being the best and 2nd being the worst) and Marge having 4. Secondary characters sometimes feel like they have a different voice for each episode
