  • I'm 47 I'm always looking for new music I think why most people stop searching for new music is because music and memories are strongly associated with one another so if you have good memories of music you grew up with you tend not to seek out new stuff.

    I'm always seeking out new punk bands or industrial metal or political metal that goes against the right wing. And I have an 11-year-old daughter so I get to hear some of the new pop and whatever else is coming out there are some gems if you look hard enough

    Reddit for me was an escape from my red state and actually talk about policies I'd like to see along with just other general interest. And if I want to shit on someone for their take or just to blow off Steam. That was the place to do it. It hasn't been that for about 2 years now. I've been off reddit completely for the last 6 months.

    I won't even click a Google link to it in search results.
