Not quite. They think all elections are rigged against them. When they win, they were popular and strong enough to win despite the rigging. When they lose, the enemy was evil enough to pull it off.
And you just know he'd program it to be the most offensive, tear jerking, hair curling farts. He wouldn't do it as a biological imitation (why pretend to expel digestive gas). So if he did it, it would be a purely social imitation, in which case he'd do it for the lulz and therefore unleash rectal fury.
I'm now convinced they could come out and say "we are running elections now, and by the way Trump is eligible for a 3rd term" and no one would do a goddamn thing.
But also, it's not just about boycotting the US, it's also about supporting the Canadian economy to strengthen our country, given our next door neighbor is a demented lunatic, with apparently still tens of millions of supporters.
So yeah, no.
But hey, if you want to secede and use all that sweet economic clout of yours to create Cascadia, you can have all that business back. If it means that much to you.
I work with the developmentally disabled and have worked with some schizophrenics. Trust me I'm not trying to say anything bad about you. More like I recognize these patterns and want to encourage you to check in with somebody you trust.
Edit: Just to be clear not trying to label you, I just wanted to communicate that I'm honestly trying to help.
I think as you get older, you realize that there's no such thing as "normal" and so even if you grew up with trauma or just general dysfunction, you eventually realize that it shaped you more than it "held you back" if that makes sense.
And then you kind of learn where you have certain tendencies, how to catch things and not let them run your life, etc.
As an example, highly empathetic people tend to come from high trauma families....kids who have to watch their parents closely to know when to avoid them, or avoid doing certain things around them.... they just get really good at tuning in to other people's radios. That's a huge boon for working in helping professions like support work, nursing, service, etc.
Totally just anecdotal based on my life and what I've learned, but I do feel like every year that passes I'm able to identify not just what held me back but what kind of benefits I gained from the trauma.
Hos daughter getting off of X and all the other silence. It feels like someone pulled everyone aside and was like "we're gonna keep this dude "alive" and you all need to just take this for the team otherwise the democrats will win....or something.
I love cooking, but I don't know that I would if I had to do that for a living.
Respect for these chefs.... but I'll keep cooking as a slow, meditative activity thank you!
