modern ones are soldered directly to the board and integrate bluetooth into the same chip and removing that chip form the board could remove the ability to use bluetooth functions and the remote, however!!!!!!! most have usb ports!!!!!! lets make new operating systems and fucking delete their file system, load a new os that lacks the abilities these manufactures have.
The hardware is whatever but if we remove the file systems that its preloaded with it won't be able to load any of its preinstalled shit. If we mod the operating system we can mod some of the shit the hardware is capable of doing through the software and coding. Kinda like how windows 11 is known for lowering ram speed.
Yeah maybe there's way to make a file explorer for them. Maybe there's ways to jailbreak them. We focus on phones a lot, webos was on the hp bought out palm phones back in the 2010's.
We find out the operating systems, we jailbreak them and completely remove their programming and then, in-turn we can mess with hardware settings.
So let's start making a TV Linux that doesn't suck or make an Ubuntu TV version or a KDE TV version.
They can't force people into using their OSes forever. The only thing I know is it's like Pandoras battery trying to disable the wifi from the hardware.
A cult leader that supposedly started off as a carpenter, that was born from a virgin birth and "performed miracles." You know what the real thing is, it's the, "Well what if he is?," feeling. I'm guessing that's what scared the shit out of everyone back then too and throughout Christianity's existence. That one fuckin' feeling.
'Cause being scared, hopeless, in shambles or something of the sort is when people turn to religion or drugs..... Or both....
It's just comfort shit though and I don't hate on it, it's just something that I have no ability to truly put belief into.
Muh Cynicism: Well once the billionaires charge us a larger premium for nuclear energy maybe science will invent magic, har har har.
Nahhhh but to be honest no one can be happy with anything when it comes to energy: Hydroelectric, the fish. Solar, the agricultural and livestock. Nuclear, land and ocean contamination that can last as long as the US has been around.
3D printing houses that can solve a housing crisis, the process it takes to make the concrete.
Can't we just shut up and and enjoy scientific advances.
where possible because it’s terribly energy intensive to make
Bruh it takes a mixer and water. The only thing that would get used more than not, is water.
Lumber is stupid expensive, brick homes are labor intensive and more expensive, you can do mixed substrate homes but that's expensive too. Glass paneling is usually only for stupid rich people or businesses and metal siding with metal interior and a metal roof, you may as well live in a shipping container.
Literally in the 3D printing for dummies book, it says that 3D printed houses that will be disposable will be part of the future and the next industrial revolution.
I don't see a problem, lumber is expensive af and there's a huge homeless problem here in the US, so if that tech was supported it could make villages for homeless people to get services and have a temp home. I say temp home because section 8 homes in general aren't meant to be forever apartments and I'm going off of that trope for the term temp home, I just didn't want to use the wording, "3D Printed Projects-Style Housing."
As long as AI doesn't become the standard way of correcting a bug or coding Linux shit then it's whatever. If they end up as bad as Microslop, then we're gonna have to make hardened rules around the Distros that can and can not have AI, fixing issues.
I mean.... I'm not gonna lie on the flipped coin of that sentiment, I would love to see a Linux OS built entirely by Ai.
It's kind of like fuck Ai taking over the movie industry but I would love to see a documentary about the AI pasta eating evolution of will smith but created with AI.
Which is why people are able to mess with them and make viruses.
