  • It's a popular meme on feddit.org. The admin disappeared on a trip to an unspecified Asian country and the instance died. He hasn't been heard from since, so this is clearly the only logical explanation.

  • Funny, it's the exact opposite in my family. I used to be the one tidying up after everyone else. I absolutely cannot stand messy rooms while neither my mom or sister seemed to care that much. My living room and bedroom are pretty much always spotless.

    Why? Lemmy is a pseudonymous platform. Who cares what content individual users up or downvote. The votes being public is the only way to deal with brigading across instances.

  • I'd just go to the local hospital and tell them that I suffer from anmesia. I will then depend on the social system for support and will eventually aquire new legal documents. After that I'd probably use my knowledge to breeze through an apprenticeship to get into my line of work again.

  • Not sure where the setting is on Voyager, but there is an instance filter in the profile settings in the browser. It blocks all posts from the instance, but not the users or comments in other communities.
