  • People were becoming smarter on computers and still are in many ways.

    The problem is generally twofold:

    1. Computers/the internet is a tool, not an adequate education system.
    2. Corporatization and late-stage capitalism has turned virtually all mainstream Western websites into pro-faacist hellscapes with controlled opposition

  • Wrestling is theater on steroids....literally.

    It is, at its best, the peak of stupid trash reality television in a live show format. Nobody watches Pro-Wrestling for the intellectual and deep content, they watch it for fun. Its satisfying the same stupid lizard brain that gets off to giant monster movies.

    I say this as someone who loved the Attitude Era and watched a bit of the 2016-2020 WWE era.

  • Rather than regulate the cancer that is social media companies, they want to ban youths from being easily able to contact one another outside of regular texting and phone calls.

    Probably not a coincidence that the UK just ruled that protesting the genocide in Palestine somehow constitutes "terrorism". Seems all these laws against young people on social media all sparked after it became apparent that most all young people oppose Israel. Not a coincidence.

  • Alcohol provides practically zero benefits to the human body and countless damages.

    People who drink regularly, even if they aren't actually alcoholics, are causing really bad long-term damage to their organs (all of them, not just the liver). Alcohol is also a carcinogen that newer studies are saying is comparable to tobacco.

    That being said it isn't necessarily an issue solved with judgement. Most alcoholics know they're killing their bodies but can't quit due to the chemical and psychological addicting properties of alcohol. Many who become alcoholics do so as a form of self medication for major problems, psychological or otherwise. Others are literally groomed into it by friends, family and the nearly global culture of drinking.

    Thank fuck the newer generations are drinking less than ever.

  • This might be shocking to learn, but someone who's clearly going through a health crisis and is clearly extremely unhealthy due to an ED or GLP1 misuse, may actually lie about being unhealthy to get the scrutiny off of them.

    Not to mention Ariana went 30+ years not looking like an actual skeleton. No way in fuck her prior body was less healthy.

    Ariana Grande looks insanely unhealthy, like a skeleton, and appears to be in a health crisis with either ED or GLP1 abuse.

    That isn't an opinion, that's a fact. She's undeniably not naturally that bone thin, nor that inactive during her performances like she's been recently.

  • I think its reasonable to bring attention to the extremely harmful act of women, who are held by society as the beauty standard, are anorexic or abusing weight loss drugs when it isn't necessary.

    We have countless studies on the ill effects idolizing women with unrealistic body standards, especially to the point they're harming themselves to achieve them, has on women and young girls. This recent revival of the "heroine chick" beauty standard via eating disorders and GLP1 abuse is a nightmare to the psyche of women and girls, and also does damage the psyche of men and young boys for that matter.
