The world is complex and the vast vast majority of people in the world are wonderful humans. The closest thing we have to super villains are people like Martin Shkreli, Jeffrey Epstein, Mark Zuckerberg, etc. and those kinds of folks only make up 0.01% of the world's population. If someone's actions appear to be evil then it's far more likely that you just don't understand their perspective. And you don't have to agree with someone's perspective to understand their perspective. For example, maybe someone is working for a defence contractor designing new missiles because they were personally affected by a terrorist attack. I can understand that perspective while also believing that better missiles won't reduce terrorism. I'm not excusing bad behaviour, I'm explaining why other people might not see their actions as bad behaviour and will have a clear conscience.
Israel has a population of about 10 million (7.5~ Jewish), the US has a population of 340 million. It was an equivalent based on number of deaths per the general population. Israel is an apartheid regime but this post is either a miss understanding or a bad faith argument.
To be fair, when AI assisted support it's done well you don't even notice. Don't get me wrong, 99% of support chatbots are useless, lazily implemented, awful to deal with, and just waste human time. Companies should focus on good support, the specific tooling is irrelevant. I've dealt with support humans that act like robots and robots that quickly escalate my issue to a human that can solve my problem.
I'm pretty sure mastodon has a copyleft licence meaning that it can be used for commercial use but the updated software also needs to maintain the same licence. That's why I chose the word "stole". They're not honouring the licence so it's stolen.
