  • The problem with contributing is that most of my Lemmy browsing is done while I'm on the can, and phone keyboards suck.

  • Omni! I remember being a teenager, and eagerly getting my subscription copy every month in the mail. In fact, i think i still have them in a box in the garage.

I thought Omni was awesome, and that they did a good job of trying to make science more accessible to people. I just wish that they had succeeded.

  • A journal about the science of blackjack and hookers?

  • I'm not your dude, buddy.

  • And Freedman. Feel like its appropriate to mention his name for some reason.

  • Just have them cup their hands, pour some water in, and then send them on their way. Fortunately, eggs and toilet paper are expensive as well, so you shouldn't have to worry about any repercussions.

  • I think you're being a little optimistic about the hostages, because Trump and Netanyahu know that Hamas won't accept the "Peace deal" that they have been left out of negotiating, and thus they'll say that Hamas is responsible for the deaths of the hostages when American forces join the IDF in flattening Gaza and then turning it over to Tony Blair.

  • Apparently you've forgotten he has 3 sons, and we don't know much about Barron, or how compotent or incompetent he is. I have a feeling he's been getting coaching for him to take over his father's political legacy.

  • Why not start your own TV discussion threads with blackjack and hookers?

  • To be fair though, Worf has that look a lot.

  • Obviously this is not based on Alan Moore's work, there's no sexual assault in it.

  • Fallout 5: Wireborn

That does sound like it wouldn't suck, but this is Bethesda we're talking about, so it still would.

  • Same here. I was so excited when we upgraded to a 128, and skipped the 64 entirely. That was some serious computing power.

  • What was happening then, has no bearing on what's happening now. Russia sold Alaska to America back before modern extraction techniques made it a very valuable piece of land. I'm sure they would love to have it back now, and Trump would love to bolster his place in history for making large deals by selling it back to Russia.

You're using historical facts that have no bearing on the situation to try and argue that Trump wouldn't do that, when he would do it in a fucking heartbeat if he thinks he can get away with it.

  • The timing of this is interesting, right before he goes to a meeting in Alaska with Putin. Trump's going to make some type of announcement after his meeting, something he knows will cause protests, and he's locking down the capital beforehand to stop any protests from happening there.

Is it going to be an announcement about the Ukraine invasion by Russia? Probably. But, based on Trump's history, he may have made a deal to sell Alaska to Russia as the ultimate real estate deal. Wouldn't put it past him.

  • Don't give General Mills any ideas. Actually, its probably already too late. They're probably working on spam flavored cereal as i type this, and will call it Sugar Spam-Os or some such.

  • That was my first thought as well.

Chase: He's in atrial fibrillation. Get the crash cart.

House: No! Pull down his pants and hand me that glove and some lube!

Chase and the other Doctors: Um..what?

  • OP didnt do Wil Wheaton wrong, the writers that came up with Wesley Crusher were the ones who did Wil Wheaton wrong.

  • Correct. Which is why, since I'm a 6'9 NBA player that loves to play the banjo in my spare time, I was wondering what happened to data poisoning.
