Companies don't make as much money when it's repairable. Washers and dryers used to last 20-25 years with a few repairs here and there. But companies weren't making any money, so they started making unrepairable junk instead.

Important to understand that there's also a form of civil war going on within the Church in the US between the more liberal churches, which this pastor represents, and the conservative, evangelical churches, which Mike Johnson represents.
He says he won and his supporters believe it. That's all they need. Doesn't matter if he was dominated or not.
