I'm from space!

  • Not worth it. Trump will brag and name drop the guest list, like he always does.

Then the non-cult public will shit on the celebs. Then when they don’t show, people will think they really wanted to go, but chickened out.

  • Nothing says apolitical like the biggest political rally ever.

  • No one if going to get a Berkeley California style liberal elected in Maine. The people there historically vote for purple candidates.

The most liberal candidate will be bluer shade of purple, that caucuses with the Dems, and makes it harder for the GOP to get a majority and to control the senator.

  • That’s a thing too, but this article is about interviewing and hiring.

AI teleprompters for remote interviews, AI generated resumes, AI candidates screening, etc.

Everything really shifted aggressively over the last 12 months.

  • Reporter are hyper focused on AI replacing workers, but they forget that AI is also upending businesses that rely on search, create eduction tools, create creative tools, make analytics tools, etc.

A lot of tech workers are being laid off because they work for a company that is bleeding customers to AI products.

Honestly, this is what I see on the ground more than anything.

  • First three words had me thinking this was going in a different direction.

“That sounds about ri… ohh. Never mind. Ohh, that also sounds about right.”

  • I was a simple lad. Sleeping in on Sundays was a pretty compelling reason for me to listen to the alternative theological arguments.

  • Isn’t that the NBC affiliate that’s partnered with a yacht rock radio station?

  • He’d be given presidential metal if honor in the states.

  • Even with the war, he would get a pass from the majority of the public for going to his kids wedding.

Although, now that he said he was going to skip, and he referred to his first born son as “someone he’s known for a long time,” he’s going to get roasted either way.

The no-win situation was caused by his inability to show affection to anyone other than himself.

  • Get out of here with your nuance!

  • “White house to pander to Christian voters because they’re scared about the midterms”

  • I'm also in this camp. That said, I've learned that everyone studies differently, and some people learn by synthesizing, and others do better when they have something structured from the jump.

I often run to weird little study teams where one person studies by taking everyone's notes and creating sets in something like quizlet, and someone else studies by using the flashcards / tests that get spit out.

  • As someone who works in ed tech these days, I’m kind of down for them as a study tool. For example, synthesizing notes and turning them into flashcards, practice tests, etc. I find that stuff to be suuuper handy if I’m trying to learn something.

But for cheating, yah, fuck that noise. A lot of classes are moving back to pencil and paper because of this, and I totally support that.

  • Yeah, all the X links are the fucking worst. No fucking thanks.

  • They also have a new URL. I assume this is because the old one still had SEO juice that bots wanted to slurp up.

    https://di.gg/

  • It’s not folk wisdom. Old ass people, who can pay for it, get more restorative dental work and are more likely to be dealing with diseased oral tissue, etc.

And we can all see that his fake-ass, extensively capped and veneered teeth, aren't showing signs of phosphoric acid damage.

But that’s the point of restorative cosmetic dentistry, to hide the damage.

Dude is old and decrepit. His brain is clearly rotting, but he’s absolutely clocked in extra hours getting dental work too.

  • To be fair, anyone with elderly parents will tell you, multiple dental visits a year is normal. Bridges, implants, dentures, etc.

He’s an 80 year old man who bathes his teeth in a dozen diet cokes a day.

  • I imagine they’ll still sell the non-camera version.
