  • Some technology would have to remain as it is for it to not be forged or threatened by AI. If CCTV footage has to remain CCTV, so be it, don't break what isn't broken.

  • I think it is a waste of time and money, honestly.

    First off, I can't ever be sure some of the time that what I'm reading on some Wikipedia articles, are infact as true as they are written. I have stumbled upon articles that weren't fleshed out. People getting into editing wars about what information are on some articles and there is no universally accepted standard format to use on some things like band articles and listing their discographies and band history.

    I just cannot in good will, donate to that kind of system. But hey, if you want to piss away your money to that kind of system, go for it. I'll save my money.

  • At the very least, you could be sitting on some issues that collectors could pay a pretty penny for. I would be hesitant on giving your comics to those used games store that have just turned into these like 'nerd-caves' where they mark up nearly everything you give them.

    If you know of any comic stores or so, those could be a route too.

  • Gaia Online allows you to lock your own threads and I think I've never ever seen that done before anywhere. It is a great self-moderation tool that I think all social media platforms should have.

    I love the idea of self-moderation. Like locking certain people out from threads you've made but allow more people to post, locking it when it gets too out of hand, banning users from ever seeing your thread both logged in and logged out.

    I like transparency, I like being able to see who downvoted and upvoted than just some number ticking up.

    I Just think that, taking some tools from Gaia, some tools from Reddit and applying them to the Fediverse, would make the ultimate and uncontested social media platform.

  • Powerwolf is German Power-Metal and they're not a bad band, I've heard lots of tracks from them. I'm into Sabaton which is another power-metal band who sing about historical subjects and figures. Oden Organ is another power-metal band.

    The best part about Wind Rose is all of their songs are based off from Middle-Earth legendarium.

  • I am pretty sure they are just roles to play for people.

  • I'm still on Second Life, which is a virtual world social platform. It has ~45,000 given active people on it, which is a piss squirt compared to other online platforms like MMOs and MMORPGs. But, nobody I know are into it save for about 5 people at least.

    And I still somehow am bothering with Gaia Online which has even less users, from 1,500 ~ 4,400 on a good day and only know 2 friends on there.
