  • But they really, really care about protecting women!

  • So back in 2016, I tried this thing to explain why Trump was so unpresidential.

I found a picture of him, on stage, wearing tan suit pants.

I pixelated the lower half of his body. Showed it to my very-Christian aunt. she freaked out about him not wearing pants and how it was wrong of me, how it was an attack on him, how it was out of context. Everything except “hang on a second! That never happened!”

People started talking about what context was it appropriate to be pantless on stage, etc.

Which was my entire point. It never happened, but he is such a fucking creep she didn’t think twice about it. No one even questioned that he was letting it all hang out.

The “well, here’s the thing…” didn’t go over too well.

  • After a while, the pain becomes pleasure.

  • He isn't part of the party anyways. So long sucka.

  • That’s a load of bunk.

    1. is irrelevant. The kind of people that won’t vote for her because she’s non-white or non-male aren’t going to vote for a Dem Soc anyway. Because they’re voting for a nazi.
    2. don’t forget the fourth on the way. Breeders are weird and Vance is a breeder. this is a bizarre argument that has nothing to do with presidential anything, and is easily turned around to “dude can’t figure out how condoms work”
    3. Vance was a Remfie making propaganda bullshit. This is not the win you think it is.
    4. and yet she’ll eat him alive and she scares him. This is an asinine argument. Be better.
    5. bwhaha. You’re a fucking idiot who hasn’t been paying the fuck attention.
  • ABOUT FUCKING TIME.

  • I thought that was the one where the whole crew got smashed at a gravity-induced keggar.

  • I used to think b-rated sci-fi flicks had crappy plot hooks about how scientists would just release the world ending plot hook like that.

And then polish scientists released cannibal ants from an abandoned Soviet nuclear bunker to see what they’d do.

  • Getting Blue Nile vibes from this one.

And red Nile couldn’t be more disappointed

  • some could probably do something with this little gem...

  • .... Wyat took rejected parental advice to "not try to fix her" a little too literally.

  • It was the Tribble of Caerbannog. A foul, cruel and bad tempered floofball! It killed six ships with its big and pointy teeth! GRrrrrr!

  • they pay a participation fee.

    I mean. fine. er. yeah.

  • Along with andorians and tellurites and Vulcans, yes.

Now tell me how many andorians/vulcans/tellurites you see on the show? How many are named, recurring characters? Main characters?

You might have 1 main-character Vulcan and a few more recurring per show. Maybe a small handful of recurring andorians, here and there.

  • I’d like to see the source that says Dragon’s WER in the 90s was 3-5%. I used Dragon in the 2000s and it just wasn’t comparable to the current state of the art.

https://dragon-medical-transcription.com/history_speech_recognition.html, for example. a lot of adverts and awards were given to it (admittedly awards like PC Mag that were probably paid advertising... but that's why I went with Open AI's assessment on whisper at 2%.) Dragon was boasting 99% accuracy after (admittedly months) of training; and it frequently reached it. there were some gotchas in that- the months-long training was a big one. The other was that you frequently had to slow down and be careful to enunciate that you don't have to do with modern systems (including the MS versions of Dragon- they bought it out at some point)

whisper.cpp is an opensource implementation, although I’m not certain exactly how open.

It's on the MIT license, if that helps. I take issue with anything OpenAI is involved in. for oh-so-many reasons.

  • Don’t tell me what to do.

Especially, don’t tell me what to do, without a functional alternative, and most certainly without giving me a good reason to do it.

And absolutely don’t tell me what to do without giving me a reason or functional alternative multiple times in low effort copy pasta comments.

  • which is funny because that's most established content on YT, whether you realize it or not.
