I don't think I can pick the absolute dumbest. I'm sure to forget something. One of the dumbest things I heard recently was in an argument about abortion. A guy was arguing that abortion should be illegal. When asked what he suggests should be the penalty for abortion, he said it wouldn't happen because it would be illegal
That people are either purely evil or purely good. I once argued with a homophobe who wanted to protect her children from seeing lesbians on tv. She said she had to protect her kids because they came to her from turbulent backgrounds. So she adopted kids in need, that makes her a good person. Still, she was a bigot and teaching her kids to be bigots and that is a problem. Homophobia is bad and harmful but not all homophobes are automatically completely horrible people.
Did those things even happen in the show? Or just in your AI fan fiction? I haven't seen the show but isn't Jon still a teenager by the end of it? I agree that it would be wrong for them to stop an adult from being a superhero, provided he isn't hurting anyone, but that wouldn't make them predators
I'm convinced my grandmother believes Trump can't be as bad as I say he is because she has too much faith in the system. She doesn't like Trump, she knows he's bad, but she doesn't seem to understand the extent of how bad he is. She thinks whatever he does must be justified on some level or else the president wouldn't do it. She thinks he can't be doing things that are that blatantly illegal because then something would be done about it
He even famously said he could shoot someone in broad daylight without losing support. This was during his campaign before the first time he was elected
I can't wait til the midterms are over. Either I'll be pleasantly surprised and democrats will take back power, or Trump's dictator powers will be solidified and maybe America and the rest of the world will come out of denial. Hope it's not too late
A preacher tells his congregation that next Sunday he will be doing a sermon about the sin of lying. In preparation, he asks them to read Mark 17.
The next Sunday, he asks them to raise their hand if they read Mark 17. Everybody raises their hands.
The preacher says "that's funny because there is no Mark 17, Mark only has 16 chapters. Now on to my sermon about the sin of lying"
