Independent thinker valuing discussions grounded in reason, not emotions.

I say unpopular things but never something I know to be untrue. Always open to hear good-faith counter arguments. My goal is to engage in dialogue that seeks truth rather than scoring points.

  • It is by far my favourite game ever. I'm not aware of any other quite like it. The level of immersion is insane and like you said, you really don't want to die and lose everything you've been working for tens of hours. The base game itself is not that difficult once you get the hang of it but the fact that you may get shot at by other player literally at any moment changes everything. It's an absolutely massive map and even if there was like only 5 other people playing you still can't let your guard down because one may be in the same town as you. I just wish people were more willing to talk instead of shooting on sight, though I can't really blame them.

  • There's a 15 second delay for logging out but yeah, you can log out mid-firefight and many people do. However the point was that when you die you don't get to try again from last save - you start again from zero.

  • DayZ master race. No saving available.

  • Not a meme. Do we really need politics on every-single-community?

  • Fanta Exotic. It still exists but it's not sold in my country. Only the sugar free equivalent which is okay but nowhere as good.

  • I moved from Instagram to Pixelfed around a year ago and went from barely anyone seeing my photography to literally no one seeing it.

  • In a world without people I'd rather talk with LLM than nobody at all.

  • The fact that people are constantly talking and making everything about politics is the "problem" I'm talking about here and that is what I'm almost entirely blaming social media for. It's not the world events I'm blaming social media for but the reaction people have to them.

  • This is the best platform for constant live updates about what the people you don't like are up to. Then there's articles about everything that's wrong in the world and also some memes - mostly political.

  • The current events are nothing new - social media is.

  • Social media is what happened. Consuming negativity all day every day makes people angry and depressed - who would've thought.

  • Rather strong opinion loosely held than the other way around.

Some people might have never even considered something untill they're asked about it. Then they quickly form an opinion about it in that moment and now that opinion immediately becomes part of their identity and they're willing to defend it tooth and nail.

  • Then I just don't pick sides. I don't see why one would need to. Palestine - Israel conflict is a good example of this. I can easily criticize and defend both sides. Same applies to my political views as well.

  • Not for all men ofcourse. It's more of a mental thing I believe. You can just as well overthink yourself into not being able to cum or maintain an erection.

  • For me, having sex is synonymous with trying not to cum. That's literally the only thing I'm focusing on which is also one of the reasons I don't enjoy it.

  • I don't and I don't plan to. It's however too soon to tell wether I'll regret that or not. Time will tell.

I can see the appeal of having kids but my current lifestyle is that I do what I want when ever I want and I don't really plan things ahead. I don't want to take the risk of having kids and then having to dramatically change my lifestyle only to realize it's not what I wanted and now I can no longer go back. I think that to have kids you have to want it. Now I just feel like it's something that's expected of me and I don't think that's a good reason to go ahead with it.

  • I don't see how this has anything to do with federated platforms. I'd argue that watching Loops is just as bad for one's mental health than TikTok is.

  • I wouldn't say that I don't see the appeal of it. I would probably get sucked right in if I gave it a shot. It's a consciouss decision on my part to simply not do that. I don't not-consume short-form media because I'm better than the people who do, I prohibit it from myself.
