  • I laughed when a guy came in from Doordash and picked up one can of Formula. I thought crazy someone would do that. But he claimed that he once delivered a candy bar. Anyone know if that possible?

  • Yeah didn't think of that. That would be a valid reason to use Doordash plus something someone high or drunk would do. Probably regret it when they sober up though.

  • Nope we haves Reasors grocery store across the street. Several gas stations. I mean we have 3 Quick Trips. Also Walmart is probably a mile down the road.

    Edit: forgot to mention we have 5 Dollars General in town then add in the Dollar Tree we have plenty of food places.

  • Well think only reason Walgreens stays open is the amount people who come to load money to their cashapp or chime card. These people all look the same, and I guess don't have bank accounts. Add the amount of mouth breathers wearing Trump hats and for some reason do their grocery shopping exclusively at Walgreens is nuts. I mean we have grocery store that much cheaper across the street.

    Also you be surprised how many people still print out 4x6 pictures. We keep running out of the printer paper for them. Got people doing 300 pics at a time. I am like who fuck still does physical pictures like this. And its not all old people.

  • With the tip had to be at least a 10 dollar candy bar, or hell more. Candy bars around here are 3 dollars for a full size.

  • Its the same with Walgreens. Its always one to two items. Did a curbside for 2 small items and a dasher picked it up not the customer. I don't whete they getting the money? Doordash is expensive as hell. And this a small town.

  • Yeah can't even get paid without it. Believe it or not a lot of sites rely exclusively on Paypal. Lot of smaller businesses use it because it's easier and cheaper then trying to build your own online payment processor. Tell truth I used it on my own sites when I sold things online. If I remember correctly Ebay was the first to make it the way to pay with them. I only remember that because its how I first ended up with Paypal.

    Of course this was before Square, and Stripe was available.

    Trump stole the 2024 election, and is planning on staying in power forevef. But I think what will really happen. Is he will die or be incapacitated and Vance will take over.

    Then they will continue to rig the next two elections. That be 10 years of Trump style rule.

  • Well the Clinton thing is obvious bullshit. But the covid in the lab might be true. Its not that covid didn't exist in the wild, but plenty of sources point to China was fucking with it and made it more deadly. What no one can agree on is if it got out by accident or on purpose.

  • Yeah well that's because you forgot to factor in that they didn't turn on the Large Hadron Collider. Apparently they still did in your world. That's truly the issue here. They turn that thing on and spun us into a dystopia nightmare of a world. I would say they should risk turning it back on and see if it could be reversed, but fear that could make things worse. Also notice Hillary won in your comic. Well since she cheated in the primary to achieve that, and her past history overthrowing democracy in third world countries she may have played a factor in this outcome. If Sanders had won that might have diverted us from being nuked.

    Oh and by the way since the Clinton's are just as much reasonable for putting us on the path of fascism I highly doubt Hillary would have stop it.

  • Where Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. I read that book over and over wore out two copies. Funny I went from that to The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub. I did the same with that book. I also would check out any Hank the Cowdog books that our school library had.

    Truly tough question. Because as a kid I feel in love with any book I picked up and read. To me books are magical. You can get lost in a world and become part of it.
