In his first administration we did see rioting around the BLM movement and in the sixties we had massive civil unrest but we also have been living with the consequences of COINTELPRO when any left leaning group had their leaders systematically assassinated by the state. Even in my lifetime I’ve seen the left leaning occupy wall street movement hunted down by the authorities and all the neonazi groups basically promoted and coddled by the government. Our system is also evil and precise in the way it disenfranchises and disempowers based on race and sex.
