Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.

I'm single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.

ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the philanthropost, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru who cosplays as middle class.) With each passing day I get a little closer to hating everyone.

Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.

  • Do it.

    It's easy. Just use a Youtube-to-MP3 converter.

  • I mean, I could go to a bar and get a $10 drink.

Or, I could have a whole-ass $11 bottle of wine, at home, in the quiet, with my dogs and a damn good book.

  • They are indeed. (

Here's the discord server for the game world where we play: https://discord.gg/ms37NPu8 (But there are around 50-100 of varying sizes and activity out there, so lots of variety and play styles to suit different players.)

DM sessions are in the 'Events' tab, but usually take place on Wednesdays or Fridays.

  • Oh, it's a blast.

I'm on a custom-built persistent world with a few staff members who build and script. Players just log in with their characters like a mini MMO and when I'm logged in as a DM, they can't see me, but there's a menu where I can make placeables, monsters, items, or visual effects appear, and I can 'possess' creatures and NPC's and make them talk. It's really very cool.

  • I've been playing and DMing D&D sessions on Neverwinter Nights for two decades.

The only other game that got me for an extended period of time was Dead by Daylight. (Around 1500 hours)

  • Sail the high seas, friends.

  • The 2024 democratic primary was non-existent for two reasons:

      1. Democrats rig their primaries, and they admitted it in court in Florida.
      1. Dementia isn't a redline for Democrats and their partisans.
  • During the War on Terror, there was a much-publicized fact that your own household furnishings were much more likely to kill you than terrorist.

  • The fediverse requires more effort.

  • Crawling into bed early in the evening with a glass of wine and a good book.

  • Kyub's right.

  • Sure thing, Jan.

Your valuable input is most appreciated. Have a pleasant afternoon.

  • Totally.

They should be brave, like you're brave, and levying meaningless critiques on the Internet.

  • This, at least, is a fact.

You could have voted Green. You could have voted Marianne Williamson in the Democratic primary. The little power our voters do have they just wasted.

  • LOL

    Sure, Jan.

We should stop it. Period. I'll snap my non-billionaire fingers and just stop it. Like I'm Dorothy and clicking my ruby slippered heels together.

Most Americans are working three jobs and 100 hours a week to be able to rent a roach-infested studio and keep their kids from starving.

AI isn't even in the top ten of issues that most Americans have the time or energy to confront in a meaningful way.

But let's not allow the reality of life in this country to interfere with a good, silly Internet screed.

  • This is your ass.

That is your ass on roller derby. If you want a great butt, get to skating.

The holier-than-thou consumer nonsense becomes a tad silly when you realize you're typing out your judgement on a computer assembled with child or slave labor. And every single one of us is using a device in that category.

I appreciate people trying to be conscientious, but judging other people's consumer choices is silly to me.
