Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.

I'm single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.

ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the philanthropost, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru who cosplays as middle class.) With each passing day I get a little closer to hating everyone.

Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.

  • Like how my boy dog refuses to eat out of a bowl, and he insists on pushing his food around, so we downgraded to a trough. (Pretty sure it's because his whiskers are over-sensitive.)

  • A butt plug is a gift that keeps on giving.

  • When I was in 3rd grade, my older siblings conspired to manipulate me into thinking our bathroom mirror was haunted, and that the ghost could travel to other mirrors, so for a few weeks I was terrified to go the bathroom.

Then one day it hit me that I hadn't seen anything and I challenged the ghost, which of course, did not make an appearance.

Learned an important lesson that day about "faith", trusting people, and how silly it is to believe in things when you have no practical reason to do so.

    Definitely stupid on my part.

  • At my work we call the 'granny browser'.

  • No, just practical.

I was one of the scant few in the US who opposed war in fall of 2001, and one of the first to refuse to stand up for the national anthem, which at the Mizzou/Texas game that fall got you about a dozen death threats from your fellow fans.

Turns out, history proved I was right not to believe the bullshit that the Dubya admin was telling us, and the people like yourself who bought it were not only wrong, but you put us into such a mountain of debt that the US will never recover.

  • He literally subsidized and reduced the cost of insurance

Only temporarily. In reality what he did was implement a Republican health care system that only promises access if you can absorb the price gouging, and he had the power to nationalize our health care system.

I don't give a fuck about Osama. Two-plus decades of forever war and tens of trillions of dollars weren't worth it, and that's particularly true in light of the cuts to the social safety net in the US that have been occurring since Clinton. Further, it doesn't matter who started the forever wars, because Obama made the affirmative choice to adopt them as his policy.

  • Well, Mr. Veteran, welcome to my world.

I voted for Barack Obama with a ton of hope, thinking there's be massive change and, seeing as how he had a supermajority for a time, we'd get everything he promised.

All we got was more war, more torture/fascism, and more expensive health care. Even when Ferguson gave him a perfect excuse for more federal oversight over police, he gave them more tanks. When Sandy Hook gave him a perfect excuse to push for gun control, all he offered were thoughts and prayers.

At least now I know that my vote doesn't matter for shit outside of my local community. (And you should 100% vote in every single local election.) If your candidate of choice is a Democrat or a Republican, they are probably lying to you. (Though Kamala Harris saying publicly that she wouldn't change anything Biden had done was a rare moment of truth, I think.)

And judging by the number of voters who just stayed home in 2024 and 2025, seems like I'm not the only one who's figured out how pointless voting has become.

  • I love this.

    Also love this comments section.

And not the good version from Spaceballs.

  • Oh, true, but back then game companies would sell you those single disks you needed. My copy of Baldur's Gate 2 was missing one that I was able to replace for a few bucks.

In hindsight, I kinda miss the awesome customer service that used to exist.

  • I have fond memories of Windows XP working well.

Do not have fond memories of the multi-dvd game installations, but I still have my library of physical games. :)

  • This, 1000%.

And pretending that fascism, nazism, and terrorist ideologies were "just an opinion", as if we're deciding whether or not ketchup or mustard is better.

Deport every fucking fascist, and screw the free speech absolutism that has day care providers in Minnesota being terrorized right now, or people being disappeared by ICE in major US cities, or unilateral state-sponsored terrorist actions from Donald's regime.

  • I would only add that OP should have O&O ShutUp on their PC and run it after the initial install, and then make it a habit to run it after system updates. It also helps you delete Copilot.

  • lolololol

  • In the future, please resist the urge to give people advice they didn't ask for. Thank you.

  • If time travel were a thing I would happily go back and prevent myself from being conceived. I'm not suicidal and don't want to die, but given the choice, I'd rather not exist than have to work for most of my life.
