  • Biden shouldnt even be in the same sentence as ford. Ford was actually arguing that there was no soviet domination of eastern Europe and ended it with that quote. Even though I dont think that was that has either.

    Biden was not arguing that they had beat Medicare. No one listening to bidens who response would misunderstand his point and think that was anything more than a misspeak. The only reason people would get that opinion is because thats how it was framed when it was replayed via clips.

    Every single one of trumps Trumps answers is so stupid. When asked about tariffs he states that it will force china to pay the us a lot of money. That makes no sense and if it was said during a time of higher citizen IQ would be immediately disqualifying.

    Its not fine judge a debate between presidential candidates off who appears more confident. If you find confidently stating a lie to be convincing then you're cooked.

    Also there is no argument that trump was more coherent that night. He couldn't answer a single question on topic and none of his responses even made logical sense Compared to biden who answered every question on topic with an in depth relevant logical reply. A lot of people relive the debate via foxnews clips but thr context behind the clips isnt bad. The "we finally beat Medicare" clip should not be considered an own to anyone over 12.

  • This is dumb as fuck. He stuttered but didnt seem like he was going to have a stroke. He was more lucid and coherent in that debate that any trump interview in the past few years. The article makes her statement sound much worse than the clip.

    Hes an old guy with a stutter trying to explain policy against a guy farming sound bites and nonsense one liners. She was probably terrified because she realised the American public was dumb enough to actually fall for trump.

    I still to this day think if you watched that debate and came away thinking trump won or looked like a better presidental candidate you are mentally cooked and have zero ability to critically evaluate reality. You should seriously introspect on why you were convinced by such incoherent responses and such obvious lies. This is directed to the people on the left because its expected that maga people are that stupid.

    You could also include the AI from the faang companies because if they cannot complete they'll likely sell off all their compute.

    Actually I dont really know if they're good, I ain't paying an ai company but I read a lot of hacker news threads on their model release impressions.

  • Not really. The people criticising society are doing so because they want to live in a society but a better version of it. The alternative of building another society is monumental.

    The people booing AI seem to fundamentally oppose what it has done, what it is doing and what it will do. But they choose to directly support this product through contributing to the user count, funding, data collection, imrpvoement, normalisation. The alternative is them losing next to nothing by ignoring it. They probably even gain by not using ai.

    But comment was not about the audience specifically because I'm sure some of them avoid ai. It was directed at the article claiming that young people hate AI and me saying but they use and they do have a very high adoption rate. If I recall its something like 80% use it weekly highest of any age group.
