I like city building games and puzzles. I like other things as well, but that's not important right now.

  • Sounds like rams could have a similar problem where they both think they want to kill each other

  • Surely there's an objective answer from a scientific perspective. And if there isn't, then the answer is "it depends" - e.g it depends on how you're shaping it.

  • "Wanna get out of here?"

Also a bit weird to ask what hobbies i have if its asked early on int interview and for a very in and out job like supermarket staff

  • Hmm reporting the death threat to the police would be good wouldn't it?

  • Ritatennisgefixen

  • trains in MMA, probably exceptionakky telented at fighting adukts chooses to use his talents to bully teenagers on behalf of drug deals

    Sorry you knew that asshat

  • I hate it when cats get in my tomato sauce. Good response though

  • Seemingly insult their closest friends and family in specific and personal ways

I'll be honest - this is a terrible habit that i'm unlearning myself, and i wouldn't have ever done it if not for friends and family who normalised it to me.

I totally agree with all the things you listed.

  • Dating apps. i guess its only most people if you look at certain age range.

  • Yes, because another lockdown is perfectly plausible. Also (at least on the cruise ship) it's caused by airborne particles from rat droppings so I could get it just from someone else not doing due diligence in cleaning a building, or not being able to access all parts of it.

The actor Gene Hackman and his wife died from it. I can't remember the details but it sounded like a brutal death. And the fact that they, who can probably afford cleaners for their fancy home, died from it? That's bad news for us.

Unfortunately I live in a place where I've seen 1 rat about a year ago when it snows, and we get mice regularly.

  • Assuming they all don't have a very-literal-interpretation-of-jokes-leading-to-no-sense-of-humour, I think people usually laugh appreciatively at someone trying to lighten the mood in settings like this, even when they've heard the joke before.

  • I've found that everyone at uni is like this. Humourless weirdosfellows, maybe they just exhaust themselves with drink, drugs and dancing every night and can't process my jokes.

  • instead of a presented/catered version of someone else

    of someone else.

That is to say, when you pick a 'target,' you should be looking at what's right and achievable in your own personal devslopment instead of emulating one specific popular person, who might in fact have a very cultivated (catered) public image, or have undergone historical revisionism to artificially create a folk hero.

  • Also, a very literal interpretation is also correct - famous people don't like meeting "plebs" unless they've mentally prepared for it

  • I interpret it the way it's intended but it's a pretty annoying phrase to me.

Never meet my heroes? I've already been disillusioned by the people I know closely in real life, nobody is perfect and it would have been naive to assume some celebrity is. I have never "modelled my life on someone" or aspired to take their niche in the celebrity ecosystem, because thst woild be unoriginal.

I think that's a more productive lesson you can derive from it - aim to be a best version of yourself instead of a presented/catered version of someone else

  • Yeah most people tend to srgue thst the usa has been in a continous racism decay, being max racist upon its conception as a country (1600s). I'm still interested in OP's opinion from their frame of reference - sort of suggests the truth is more nuanced and might be tied to prosperity of the country
