  • If it's open source and can be hosted locally, I don't think there are issues with national security in this case.

There is money to be lost though. Always follow the money.

  • I know. But most of these engineers are on the job and on the road 99 percent of the time. And a quick WhatsApp message is all they want.

  • My only issue is having WhatsApp in my circle is a must.

Friends and families are more than happy to text or call. But the numerous contractors and engineers I work with and request their service, to them WhatsApp is a must to send photos of issues or videos of faults.

  • Recreate Vagrant Story.

The focus would be on graphics and implementing a fast way of changing weapons and armor.

  • Couldn't agree more.

I think one that can be done is to create a pinned FAQ post in Reddit on the fediverse sub Reddit. I have seen so many questions popping up lately with a lot of potential users that seem confused.

  • Technology companies including Microsoft, Anthropic and OpenAI welcomed the plan

    Of course, what else.

  • My father used to spend his bonuses on family trips. Back when we were kids, we had so many great memories with our parents. Father always made sure to take as many photos as possible.

Looking at those photos, makes me I want to do the same for my kids as I loved it to bits, but a bit difficult nowadays with everything being way too expensive.

However, I learned that trips, adventures, hikes, or any family activity builds trust, memories, relationship, and an opportunity to capture a lot of great photos for the future.

  • People who do not backup their laptops or phones, then come complaint to me when they are unable to to access and get a photo when the device dies.

  • I went through this with my wife a few years back. We had to live in a single room for years to make ends meet.

10 years later, we are a family of four now in a three bedroom house that we will hopefully complete it's payments in 5 years or so.

Difficulties can still happen but we will sail through it again if it needed.

  • Been archiving a lot of my favourite shows. I expect a lot of them to either disappear in ten years, or sit behind some subscription.

  • I have an old pc running windows 10, it would be cool if it stops getting updates. Makes for a nice offline pc to get some old apps and games running in the future.

  • Would be great if it can watch a video and generate timestamps for me to skip to specific sections.
