  • You're all just jealous.

  • I think that's Epstein.

  • I almost did the same but settled on 64GB :`(

  • To fund the datacenter or to fund infrastructure expansion needed for the datacenter?

  • But how can you have any opinions if some celebrity doesn't constantly tell you what to think?

  • Can't Trump issue executive order to change the cause of death? Problem solved.

  • It's not a uniform, it's a cultural thing.

  • If anything, they are telling them to pause their grifting until the midterms. "Rich enough" is not a concept that can exist in a republican brain.

  • In 2022 we had "calima" in southern Spain. It happens when wind blows in sand from Sahara and is quite common but this one was insane. I only have one shitty picture of it:

There's no filter here and it's in the middle of the day. This is what everything looked like. This is what it normally looks like:

It was as if the whole world got an instant sepia filter. When you were walking outside you could fell the sand in your eyes. Everything got covered in a thin layer of red sand. They had to pressure wash the whole region:

  • Who's surprised? The article is just stating facts.

  • You’ve probably not seen it. It only happens when you’re logged out.

Heh, I haven't seen it because I don't use google.

  • This looks really nice. I see you can create custom plugins in Lua. I haven't seen other Wayland desktop with good plugin system. This looks like it could finally be a good replacement for Awesome WM. I might give it a try.

  • 3.5/10

  • It's FOSS and easy to set up. KeePass simply stores everything in a file and you use Syncthing to sync this file between devices. Syncing is optional, if you just need you password on desktop you don't need it.

KeePass has pretty bad UX when compared with Bitwarden though. Bitwarden/Vaulwarden is the best solution IMHO but it's really difficult to set up.

  • No, I'm fine and all my closer friends are doing even better. I could try to make more money but right now I don't feel like it. I like my job and the flexibility it gives me.

  • Also, scrambler is not mandatory (I don’t have it enabled) so Graphene OS devs explanation that “we will not enable patter ulock because it’s not secure” while normal PIN can be enabled still doesn’t hold.

Also, who are "they"? Yes, someone in some situation can figure out the patter from smudges. In other situations someone can see your PIN. If Grapehene dev are so worried about screen unlock security they should implement the system BlackBerry had which was super convenient and impossible to figure out even when looking directly at someone's screen.

  • I'm not your bud, friend.

  • Just by using their software they’re being promoted over non-facist software.

No, you think that because you're mixing politics and engineering and you feel 'yucky' when using software written by someone you disagree with. I don't.

If a fascist engineer designed a bridge and I walk on it am I supporting fascism? Am I giving visibility to it? Do I have to walk around and use a different bridge? You will probably say that yes, people using roads in New York support racism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Moses) but I disagree.

I can use software without giving money, likes, following its creator on social media, reposting his messages or otherwise promoting his ideas. His code running on my computer doesn't provide any support to him, same as people driving under racist bridges don't promote racism.

  • Do you pay for your open source code? I don't.
