  • It's not really that we agree with him. It's that his listeners get really annoying and this may help to settle them down about this.

  • People in those departments deal with classified info where they can't make those types of 'mistakes'.

  • He should have paid attention in them

  • Frivolity

  • I guess Newsom should sue Fox then, while we're at it.

  • Now there's an idea...

Have a dozen+ of these apps on the app stores, except only the reporter gets doxed (maybe given to the reported, if possible) and the reported's info just gets sent to /null.

  • I think you mean the infotainment screen.

A HUD is usually just a simplified form of your cluster projected onto your windscreen.

  • I normally just say, "I read [x] on Lemmy."

If they ask and are genuinely curious what that is, I tell them it's like a reddit offshoot, but the users control the network and servers with a high level of transparency in administration/moderation and run off software that can have tens of thousands of crowdsourced eyes helping to find and fix any bug or security issue.

  • OAuth

    Jump
  • They were founded in the Philippines though

  • If there is anything that absolutely should be based on open-source software, it's voting equipment.. More eyes (from all sides of the floor) on it, the more difficult a programed bias would be to hide.

  • You know... Retirement age in America is like 62 most places. Just saying.

And some are even forced or incentivised

  • Manufacturers do it for liability and doctors for that one idiot out of twenty.

  • Weren't there statistics saying gaiters weren't really effective for filtering? Also, the whole point of wearing a mask to not let you spread anything?

  • Maybe some flight tech at the base attached the hose for refilling a water (maybe cooling for the pilot) system to the wrong port.

I'm not very sure though, as ports in the aerospace world, whether electrical or plumbing tend to use different shapes/models within the same grouping to prevent misconnectionsp

  • Why was an open-faced sandwich just randomly sitting on a windowsill without a plate, or even a paper towel?

  • He apparently has some issue with them 'destroying' the view at that golf course in Scotland, saying they're ugly and they should be removed. This is just a continuation of that quest for his idea of vanity

  • Though, for each of those possible timlines to have ever existed, they would have to be played out with humans that have a consciousness. Maybe, we're that consciousness.

  • It could just be a room or an ADU that was rented.

  • You might need to open the case and search for pins surrounding a chip with a TTL device (search for pinouts of your chip), but I guarantee you that the phone is always recoverable

Working with and building circuit testers, I can say those pins also very likely have test pads routed to them for when the board was originally programmed. Look for un-tinned, smallish solder pads that looks like a needle may have pricked them.
