  • Hey! That's my town.

For anyone curious, We have a nuclear plant that uses cooling canals in the coastline instead of cooling towers, here's what they look like.

The temperature change and marshy environment in Florida creates the perfect condition for Crocs (Not gators, those live inland in the everglades)

  • I don't think we should be ashamed at all, let's enjoy these cars while we can before we have to transition to EVs.

Corporations emit a thousand million times more pollutants than private citizens, but they love telling us to think green and be eco friendly while they continue burning the planet for profit.

The way I see it, you were going to drive a car anyways, the difference between a 1.6 litter and a 3.0 litter is negligible in comparison to what's emitted in power generation, plastics processing and other polluting industry.

  • Amazing, enjoy.

  • TBF, most cars do that now a days. Car brands don't make their own ABS systems, they buy them from manufacturers like Bosh and Denso; and they all work on the "CAMBUS" standard, meaning that all sensors talk to each other over a network. Normally these systems light up an individual diagnostics light to let you know if there's a problem detected (low brake pad / fluid indicator, parking brake, ABS light) so to differentiate when there's a system error such as a sensor that can't communicate it lights them all up at the same time to let you know.

For example my 06 G35 did that for a stupid brake sensor, cost me endless hours of troubleshooting to pinpoint.

  • Check out the maverick, it has all the utility of a truck with all the economy and comfort of a smaller car. It's kind of a hybrid minivan with a bed, but TBH most people that buy trucks are not really using the bed.

  • Can't believe they killed the STI ... Granted we have the GR corolla, but it's just not the same without the boxer :(

I wanted a WRX hatch back, but not like this .... not like this.

  • The check engine light is complimentary with any VW product 🤣 I love how nice the damn things are but never met one who's dashboard didn't look like a Christmas tree.

  • Alright! Gotta love a German power waggon ... or as you guys call them "estates"

Got any pics? What gearbox on it? Not sure if they only come with the ZF 8 speed or if the allroad package brings the DCT as part of the AWD

Is the 6 on the Torsen? or Haldex drive train?

  • Yoooo ... Finally a thread about cars ...

I drive a Manual 2019 Mustang GT convertible I bought of the auction and rebuilt in my apartment ... It was tough to find a car in the height of Covid and I had very little wiggle room since I ended up putting a piston thru the block in my 2016 Genesis Coupe ...

And this is the Genny I killed, she had over 120 miles and I was very lazy with maintenance ... not that their build quality is the best to begin with

  • Is it? I use to take more than this every day, Just recently cut back down to 400mg because of medication

Never really got the jitters, but then again I do mostly cardio, I do feel the effects in my train of thought tho and in my breathing.

  • I had to significantly cut back because of my SSRIs so I take 400mg in the morning before going on a 2h Bike ride before sunset.

I completely replaced coffee with these energy drink mix that helps stay hydrated while cycling and is keto friendly / sugar free.

Highly recommend it, normally I drink one pouch (200mg) when I wake up, and I take the second L with me on the bike with some extra electrolytes. It's what plants crave!

  • Thats an interesting limitation, so netbird has to use the "site" as part of the URL for resources? can you pick the name? or is it dynamicaly generated?

  • I've been using Pangolin since it came out ... to make my services available without opening ports, but I also use Netbird for VPN access.

Is their DNS forwarding "resources" stable? Last I heard it was in beta only ... if I can eliminate one more piece of software that I have to admin and maintain, that'd be great.

  • I'm OK with this as long as the MANAGERS that get paid for MANAGING the project and make sure that there's enough resources and the goals are met do their job ... the problem is when they promise a bunch of deliverables and hire 1 senior dev with a couple of interns .... good fucking luck.

I'm a paid employee ... as far as I'm concerned SLAs and deadlines are someone elses problem. I get paid to come in and do my job for 8 hours, which I do ... everything else Is someone else's problem.

Otherwise I'd be consulting or starting my own fucking company.

  • There are a few extremist, toxic and NSFW communities you may want to block on your normal browsing account, you can do so in settings.

Which ones? Oh don't worry, you'll find out. Just be on the lookout for the @something.TLD part of the posts that make you think "WTF" when you see the same a couple of times ... you know to block that one.
