I have no sympathy for GAFAM, but Mozilla sucks even more and you can't convince me otherwise.

  • Chromium is bad only in your head. It's a fucking rendering engine with different incarnations. How can this be bad? And no, FF is not "the best", otherwise it wouldn't have the shitty market share it actually has.

  • Same. The video culture is a disgrace.

  • Why would I want security based on a device? What security this offers greater than a 64 chars password + 2FA?

  • Maybe, but even if it happens it's going to take a lot of time. Let's wait and see.

  • These are negligible or even non-issues and it's not like Mozilla didn't have its fair share of controversies as well. In no way they are "better", whatever this means.

  • The use case of 90% of people doesn't include extensions at all...

  • True. Most of the negative comments about Chromium here are really obtuse. Looks like people feel the need to gain imaginary internet points by praising a mediocre browser made by a misguided Corp. such as Mozilla.

Save your time and avoid replying here. I wont' reply back. I'm not interested in arguing. Just block me if you disagree and go on with your life.

  • Wrong. There are browsere whose adblocker doesn't depen on MV2 or MV3. Why are you arguing in bada faith?

  • There may be some other reason for it being this popular.

Because it just works fine and block ads by default, maybe? A wild guess, I know. /s

  • I dont know why people keep recommending brave.

    Because it's good.

its a fucking scummy fucking browser that has a history of stealing money, hijacking referal codes (like honey just got in deep trouble over), installing unnecessary software without consent and more.

    Bullshit.

  • Not for much more, it seems.

  • It's nice to use a browser which doesn't depend of extensions to block ads.

  • Just FYI, I'm not a Proton supporter (I find the way overrated), nor an American citizen, nor a MAGA supporter (quite the opposite, actually). I just use common sense. If you're so stupid to believe otherwise it's exclusively your problem. Keep crying and jumping from service to service for every little shit. Have fun.

  • Lol, here comes the drama. And I say that as a person on the opposite spectrum of Trump.

  • You must be new to the internet. People make a drama out of every little shit.

  • "Winning" an online argument doesn't make sense. I just say people to block me if they don't want to read my opinions or I block them before if they become very annoying. Who cares. It's not like people on the internet are my friends.

  • Guess why? /s For real, people, some of you live in a bubble...

  • People are the problem.

  • Well, actually FF defaults aren't that great for privacy. Later on, crypto stuff is disabled by default on Brave, so it's not like they are stealing your wallet... Agreed on the safe browsing stuff, which I think it's on by default for both and it's something I'd prefer not to have in my browser.

  • They aren't say anything crazy in that post. But I already know that the sheep mentality and hypocrisy of the "community" only accepts the existence of the crappy Mozilla's browser, which stays afloat precisely thanks to the biggest ad company in the world.
