  • I agree with everything you said 100%, except the bit about how if voting worked it'd be illegal. Republicans are literally trying to make it that way. One of their main goals is to disenfranchise as many poor people and minorities as possible, bc if everyone voted, republicans would lose every election by a landslide. That's why they love things like manually registering to vote, randomly deregistering people, the electoral college, and hand counting ballots, while opposing mail-in and absentee ballots, automatic voter registration, RCV, basically anything that gives Americans more voting power. Voting is very much the least you can do to affect change in America, but it is still a thing you can and should do regularly before republicans abolish it

I bet hex was just as bad, and obviously grad is, and the only reason we don't still hear about it is bc they're broken clocks who have been more preoccupied with israeli genocide in Gaza. Has there been a huge shift in ml circles where people don't circlejerk about putin as much anymore? I checked a hex community and the only recent pro-ruzzia post I saw had more downvotes than upvotes, it would be pretty awesome if they stopped worshiping russian dictators who want me dead

  • This is already a problem. Cops exist, yet hate crimes still happen all the time, bc most cops allow it to happen. Getting rid of cops would reduce hate crimes, since it would mean marginalized people can actually carry without being in immediate danger from cops, because again, cops always side with violent bigots over their victims
