  • They don't want experienced people in regulator positions. They want their people in regulator positions. I would be surprised if a majority of new hires did not have ties to Christian Nationalism.

  • 1984 by George Orwell

Not TV (at least not that I am aware of), but it was the first thing to come to my mind. They made a movie if you prefer but, as always, you'll get more from the book.

  • Pretty sure that's the type of content reality shows provide.

  • Check out Rubin and Ed. Not the same type of a WTF movie experience but worth a watch if you appreciated Kung Fury.

  • Whaaaaaat? You mean the bigotry and vitriol of the GOP isn't limited to Mexicans, Hatians, Chinese, Guatemalans, Columbians, Cubans, Women, Gays, Transgender, Liberals, Muslims, Jews, Palestinians, Athiests, Americans wanting affordable healthcare, Americans wanting a living wage, Americans wanting affordable housing, Americans wanting renewable clean energy, Americans wanting a clean environment, immigrants, healthcare workers fighting a global pandemic, journalists, hecklers, and generally anybody who does not vote Republican?

Please add any groups that I forgot.

  • But I thought overturning Roe v Wade was about restoring state rights? Surely Texas wouldn't try to interfere with another states sovereignty and their right to decide how to deal with this issue? Surely they know that state laws do not extend to other states, right?

Geez, I sure wish that there was some historical example of what happens when one group of states hides behind "state's rights" to justify their behavior while ignoring that same argument in an attempt to impose their oppressive ideology on other states.

  • But what if poisoning stupid people is against the doctor's religious beliefs?
