  • I'm assuming the hotter temperatures are also increased by how much concrete there is compared to back then. Also the floods. They build warehouses on fields and then be surprised all the water goes into rivers. I'm in my late 20s and remember ice skating on local river in the city and there being more snow that lasted longer. Now if it even snows it's gone in few days.

  • When will this end? :'(

  • We need valve but for browsers.

  • Not sure if I'm lucky to never having a girlfriend or if I missed out on a lot. Soon being 30.

  • Plenty of plants use this methods to spread their seeds tho. It's just the fruit that gets eaten not the entire plant.

  • The only reason I created Facebook account was to be able to chat with other people I met. Wish signal/matrix were more popural, or if you could chat with anyone through any app since they all use your phone number anyway.

  • Why?/what are the alternatives?

  • I mean, we are living better than kings of the past. Running water, easy heating, abundance of food. But mentally we are overstimulated and all of other stuff. It could be much better I don't want to downplay that. But we are living better than in the past so just trying to look at the positives.

  • Thank you. This is the first version I heard so I was confused why it's bad and people being against it.

  • This method actually has bigger throughput if you need to transfer lot of data.

  • Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for nuclear winter. (Hope season two will be good)

  • Went from mint to cachyOS and besides some things being different it just works.

  • Sorry, English is not my native language.

  • I somewhat broke my Linux mint Debian edition and decided to distro hop a bit. So I wanted to try popos but when trying to install it the windows and everything were broken like when you dragged the windows it left shadows and you couldn't see anything on it. So I ended up with CachyOS and so far that was awesome. Especially like that you can just clone the bottom panel which I struggled with on mint. The only "problem" I have with it is that there's no app manager like on mint just octopi that is too minimalist and doesn't seem to search well and some apps I assume aren't for arch so looking for some app manager to install that would be similar to mint or just more noon friendly, just normal GUI. Well, there's my short story of finding CachyOS is good so far.

  • Glad we have dumb "roomba" that has just one physical sensor when he bumps into something and infra for detecting docking station and for remote control. It does the job and that's the main thing. Over the years only had to replace the battery.

  • I saw there is pine phone that is supposed to have Linux or it doesn't? Didn't look much into it but was thinking about trying it out.

  • There already are robots for flipping burgers. If you prepare the burgers for them and place them on GBE grill and then assemble the burger.
