    None of my Reddit accounts has been banned (but I must say I didn’t talk about political or debate subjects), while on Lemmy I have received a couple instance bans in the past, and no, I didn’t insult anyone

    Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication, or other information. This may be done on the basis that such material is considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or "inconvenient". Censorship can be conducted by governments and private institutions.

    It’s one thing not to accept an article on a newspaper which is only meant to accept a couple articles, and many of them having a clear and assumed editor line; and another to remove after publishing a comment or post on a public discussion forum, often claiming freedom of speech, because the admins do not agree with that the person says for political reasons.

    If there’s an editor line, then publicly assume it and make it clear when it’s an online discussion forum: reveal your biases.

    Overall yea, but built-in graphics are remarkably efficient and they have the added benefit to be here even if you didn’t plan that use initially. I’m glad to be able to play video games on my laptop that was meant to be use for work only

    Similarly, I had no interest in getting an NPU for this laptop but I found some use to it (well, when it’ll finally support what I want to do)

    Manufacturers will never include a niche option, or will overprice it. Built in allows to get that directly

    When you’re talking about the PCIe peripheral, you’re talking about a separate dedicated graphics card or something else?

    I guess the main point of NPUs are that they are tiny and built in

  • You’re welcome! I also heard about another project which is much simpler but I can’t remember its name. At least mailcow makes it easy to configure the different fields and has a nice web client

    Yea, mailcow does require a bit too much but it’s well made and you can disable features to reduce RAM usage

    I imagine 800MB is without the antivirus checking and search improvements
