  • My driving test was pulling out of a parking spot, driving once around the lot, then pulling back into the same spot.

  • I meant the claim that most people want to bring back indoor smoking. I'm assuming you have nothing more than "trust me bro" for that too.

  • I there data that backs up your claim?

  • Idk if I'd say a baby crying because it's hungry is a display of selfishness. It's the only way they can communicate, and they aren't able to help themselves. I will say however that I don't think selfishness is inherently a bad thing and many people if not everyone does display some form of it.

  • That works well enough to deter thieves from stealing your packages. But not so useful when you wake up to find a hit and run driver clipped your parked car over night.

  • The sentiment of your post is commendable, but I'm skeptical that any magats are "finally seeing the light". They've been fully supportive of bigotry and facsism for a decade now. I'm relieved that support for trump is beginning to dwindle, but it's not because those supporters are now becoming more progressive. Its because their gas prices have gone up. They will blindly continue to vote red in the future.

  • That's a strange take. If you wake up tomorrow and the price of groceries go up 200% would you just say "people are freaking out that paid food is paid"?

  • I hope this doesn't come across as rude or nosy, but do you use we as a pronoun in place of I or are you talking about yourself and another coworker?

  • I thinks I'm in a town 2 hours south of where I'm at, but it got the time zone wrong by three hours.

  • Because your phone's browser gives it that information

  • When I worked at the deli at publix (south eastern US grocery chain) I regularly boxed extra chicken wings, didn't upcharge for sandwich addons, etc. Publix already sells everything at an insane markup. They're famous for their weekly BOGO deals, but the price per item is still nearly double that of the next closest store. Like most retail jobs, I never got paid enough to care.

  • Cant remember what they are off the top of my head, but there's been a couple of times I wanted to download a FOSS program, but it was only available to install through the Microsoft store.

  • I was an idiot as a kid, but I grew up

I feel like the point here though, is acknowledging that this doesn't describe Kash, the director of the FBI.

  • Didn't they just remake this? I think it's a TV show so idk if that counts

  • Back in high school I used to chill with my weed dealer and play Minecraft all the time lol

  • Who qualifies as a gamer? Are much money can I expect to start off making with my Dark Souls no hit, no bonfire run on ng+?

  • You don't think any of the adults that create said books are fans of their own and each others works? Surely they aren't all working in an industry in which they loathe all of the work they are doing or think it is all so beneath them.

I'm mostly responding to the idea that it is shameful to enjoy reading books that are far beneath the level one should be able to read at. Would the same apply to the adults that write children's books?

  • Even if we can accurately identify something as being for children, that something would likely have been produced by very passionate adults, and approved by other adults for publication. Do these adults get a pass from being shamed for their interest in children's content?

  • How does one accurately identify something as being specifically for children and children only?
