  • Thank you for the reminder to donate to them <3

  • Easy, call down there, Sherlock.

  • Wtf, why did I think it was a dog at first? Holy shit.

  • Is the custom launcher you use called "Projectivity"? That's the one I use and it's great.

  • The fact that any human being would do such thing for ANY politician is fucking mind-boggling to me.

  • That actually won the vote? Ha!!!

  • I don’t think code qualifies as English, does it? lol. Also, it’s the idea of creating the narrative of the story in English that I find almost impossible. Another thing, I can never ever sing in English. Like not even one line. Even if I were to somehow to make it work, you’ll easily tell I’m a foreigner whose native language is definitely not English. Also, there are English words I can never enunciate, first one and my most annoying word that I hate the most is “vulnerabilities”. I choke when I say that word. Lmao.

  • Damn, that looks awesome. Thank you for the pics. My brother is a carpenter and I love his work.

  • I’ve never heard of a Stone Mason, but that sounds so fucking cool. What do you actually do?

  • In English, I can’t write to save my life. My brain just refuses to make any narrative.

  • Does this apply to programming? Because I make those expressions/faces all the time when I code

  • A couple of years ago, I complained about not many options for PDF editing on Linux, now there are too many of them and I’m 100% ok with that. Thank you for this.

  • An arch Linux user.

  • Good on you for protecting them from social media. My 12 year old son has no access to any social media. I got parental control everywhere. Google’s family link even has this “school time” function where it minimizes distractions. I honestly wouldn’t even mind if schools said “no phones in class”.

  • Why not use existing lockers?

  • Bachelor of science in molecular biology here. Never had any computer/programming courses, not even in college. I come from a 3rd world country, so our “computer lab” naturally had two desktops that we were only allowed on for half an hour a week for basic windows tasks. I’ve always been a curious person, though. Moved to the US in 2010 and started messing around with a laptop I had that was struggling to run windows. Ran into this thing called “Linux” and the rest is history.

I’ve had countless sleepless nights fixing things on my broken Linux installs and/or to make some things work. That is the thing that built what I know now.

Being the same curious dude I am, I wanted to dip my toes into self-hosting, and I just discovered that it’s just a whole new world that is even more fun. Been doing things in this realm for around 1.5 years now and still dabbling.

Edit: forgot to mention that I now work as a software developer at a big company. Yes, my microbiology degree is sitting in the drawer sleeping. lol

  • If you have an android phone, you're welcome to use my app Stillshelf. It has two shells, one for audiobooks (audiobookshelf specifically) and the other for music (Navidrome).

  • Only theft I’m actually ok with.
