So like the reply ITT would be something like uh yeah op sounds like a you problem, that's completely fucking false about lemmy. People take things way too seriously here, and everybody is way too nitpicky and judgemental.

I've also had a father tell his children that "tipping is optional and they should be happy with 5%" after I spent an hour and a half busting ass for his family's ridiculous requests. After taxes and tip out 5% can literally be less than zero into your waiter's pocket, fwiw.
Y'all suck. I assume anyone I see bitching about waitstaff getting tips, or implying they dont tip, is an asshole, because IME those are the complaints of an asshole. Tipping culture in general is a whole other topic that there can be reasoned and nuanced discussions about, but if your take is "tipping sucks and I don't have to," then you are willingly taking advantage of a system that denies people of the fruits of their labor.
Every dollar printed affects the value of every dollar already in circulation. Where that money goes changes who feels it. Printing money to blow up and then subsequently rebuild infrastructure in Iran is going to hurt basically all Americans, although some people (guess who) are probably going to see their share of the pie grow even more because their assets are not held in USD.
It's all so goddamn stupid. If I allow myself to turn to illiberal thoughts I begin to feel like perhaps anyone who supported this clown should have their voting rights permanently stripped. He's the worst president in maybe 150 years. I guess Trump supporters should be thankful the rest of us are so goddamned liberal.
It works well, until it doesn't. That first part lulls people into complacency. I rented a Kia last year that had automatic cruise control and lane keep assist and it kept me on the road far past when I should have pulled over and taken a nap from being sleep deprived after a redeye flight. Dangerous? Yes. Skill issue? Maybe. What I took away from the experience is that it is frighteningly easy to get used to a thing "just working" and forget about its limitations when it is convenient. I also learned that I do not want lane keep assist or automatic cruise control in my personal car.
They turn into a soup-like homogenate. As is natural in the life cycle of a lab mouse.
And if they weren't euthanized they would almost certainly die of horrible horrible cancerous tumors. Not because of anything the labs do, but because it's a crime against nature for a mouse to live past maybe 2 years.
And to think i used to be mildly annoyed by sterile bureaucratic politician speak.
Edit: or one day ago as of the original time of the top post. Having a life is hard, I wanna go back to being a chronically online teenager with time to waste and the certainty that I could solve all the world's problems.
Eh, it's a distinctive style. If you workshop it and you like the result, great. If you don't, thats fine too. They're funny and now that I know what to expect I can read the nose for what it is. I happen to like your comics quite a bit even if I have been wondering why your characters are so smug and/or content all the time. I thought it was part of the humor ;-)
For me I think part of the problem is my brain fails to notice the nose in panels that have mouths, and therefore I expect to see a mouth but not a nose in panels woth no mouths. Idk if that helps or even makes sense
