  • They're DDoSing the server, it's the only explanation

  • I think Garmin has some watches that fit.

  • All while being invaded by a fascist far-right authoritarian dictatorship (by your logic), because yes, Russia has fascists.

So while your point is that Ukraine is a far-right authoritarian country because it:

    • Has a controversial monument to a fascist
    • Doesn't hold elections while being invaded
    • Has fascists in its military ranks

The point I'm attempting to make to you, is that all countries have fascists in them. Yes even Russia:

  • Unfortunately every countries military has nationalistic fascists, some of which use Nazi iconography to display their "pride". I could find the 1940 Swedish general election (not at war), 1942 Icelandic parliamentary election (occupied by USA), 1943 & 1944 Irish general elections (not at war) as the elections held between Sep 1939 & Sep 1945, the other democratic European country's I reviewed, elections were either postponed or went uncontested.

  • Living up to your username

  • I couldn't be bothered anymore, and a revolution isn't getting organised in a Lemmy comment section under a Trump article

  • The knife hands person got me and now I've got you with this.

  • Depends on your motherboard, try (one at a time):

    F12 Del F10 F2

If you get into the UEFI/BIOS there'll be an option to permanently set it.

  • Another rabbithole to endlessly research. Thanks for the link!

  • I wonder why that works?

  • Every time I get a runny nose it's all I can think about.

Do You Ever Want To Use the Suction Tool That Dentists Have On Your Nose?

  • Did you try taking the mobo out the case and testing it, the CPU and RAM? If you did and it's still not working, then I'd follow u/dcdc's advice and update the bios, the board could be on an early build that doesn't support your RAM.

Here's a link to updating your BIOS without posting.

And the latest (non beta) BIOS link.

  • Your board has a debugging code at the bottom, do they light up?

If they do, you can find the number in the manual

If they don't light up, then I'd assume the board isn't getting power, try removing the mobo from the case and check if you've got any case standoffs in places where they'd touch the mobo.

Your CPU has integrated graphics, so while the motherboard's out try testing it with just the CPU, RAM and PSU.

If it still doesn't work you might have to try using a different mobo / try and get an RMA on your current.

  • I'm very much in the first camp and need to remind myself whenever I think about arriving due nuclear

  • You joke but...

  • I was only able to get a couple episodes in. When his surrogate gay dad said that he'd do anything for him and two scenes later you have Rami Malek going "AHH I have noone who can help me what do I do?!??", I couldn't keep watching.

Though it might also be my inability to watch a show where characters get 'worse'. I got upto the third last episode of Arcane and when a pivotal moment in a characters story went bad It took me 5 days to finish the show.
