  • This is true. I dont try to consume "dense" material via audiobook. Usually LitRpg stuff or more pulpy scifi. I straight up dont have the time to read, but my job involves a lot of driving.

    The thing that bugs me about people who hate on audiobooks (Not saying you were) is that yeah, someones reading it to me but I'm still supporting authors. Sadly books are a declining market.

    Yeah the system is fucked and definitely needs change, but its either gradual or violent and as someone who came up with rough crowds in rough places. Most people arent cut out for when the actual violence starts.

  • I have a problem like that with man made static heights.Sounds weirdly specific but Rollercoasters dont bother me, flying is fine and edges of cliffs are ok. But a railing on a hotel balcony or glass floor over a drop... GET FUCKED.

  • Honestly MMA events are usually pretty chill when it comes to actual violence I believe its because the percentage of people who can actually fight in the audience is way higher than at regular sports.

  • Ok. Hypothetically speaking if my family lives in a town, and I recieve a job offer in another state that pays $600,000 a year my household income triples, my wife no longer has to work and I rent a spare room near work I TECHNICALLY live in another state.

    If they are fulfilling their contracts who gives a fuck. I know a guy who "lives" with his parents on paper but is a full time vanlife I.T consultant. He hasnt "lived" anywhere specific in about 3 years.
