  • The new one. As for the old one, if you count Galactica '80 as its "finale", most people would agree it's terrible.

  • Battlestar Galactica.

  • It's lesser-known, but the Battletech Advanced 3062 mod for Battletech from Harebrained Schemes is incredible. It adds so much it's almost an entirely new game (but still Battletech).

  • I had a cat which almost the same thing happened to, except with a plastic bag. For most of the rest of her life when she heard plastic crinkling she would run and hide.

  • Speaking of the original Night Court, Brent Spiner had a recurring role as Bob Wheeler.

  • There was an episode of the new Night Court which revolved around New York Comic Con and had Dan dressed up as a Klingon.

  • "Carrot and stick". It originally invoked an image of someone riding on a donkey's back with a carrot dangling from the end of a stick hung in front of the donkey's nose, encouraging it to move forward with the promise of the carrot which it could never catch. It meant to lead someone around by the nose. But at some point someone decided that the carrot was a reward and the stick a punishment and that's how most people use it now.
