He didn't lost his company because he lied as a press entity, he was lying for years without issues, he lost his company because he directly defamed the victims and their loved ones, which caused a massive lawsuit by them that went in their favor. Even in the US there's still a few restrictions to free speech, and defamation is one of them.

That's not what people watch though. People get their news from "influencers", often time those with far right alignments, or straight from fascist parties who are the ones with the most reach on TicTok.
The problem is that media is unregulated and people are allowed to lie and pass off that information factual.
That's literally what the free press is, and a fundamental pillar of a free and democratic society. Regulated media is censored media, and exactly what fascists want.

I think social media algorithms have fried people's brains. Imagine we'd ban them, go back to content being kinda diverse and random, without adversaries able to game the system and push massive swaths of propaganda to people. The fact alone that most youths get their news from freaking TicTok of all places...
I find mobs that rape, torture and cannibalize you worse - and that may or may not be the order they go with. Or just slowly dying of thirst or starvation. I'd rather take a quick blast to the face and be done with this bullshit.
I'd already be happy if AMD goes with 24 GB on their upper midrange cards, but I would not be surprised if they stick with 16 GB. 48 GB seems extremely unlikely, unfortunately.
Doing LLMs with 8 GB is not fun, especially not with RDNA 2 which has so many issues with ROCm.

It happens with the actual app as well. So no. And other apps have no problems identifying my audio devices. This is simply a common issue with Discord on Linux, among many others that they don't bother fixing.
Respectfully, but you cannot really judge a game to be super boring & dull if you literally have not played it yourself. The idea of MC was always great, it's just unfortunately that it went fully into appealing to a kiddie audience over the years, which I think also pushed away a lot of modders and other players who wanted a more complex experience.
Every way. It's just a confusing mess. It looks like one of those early 2k websites with a gazzilion animated gifs and whatnot. The layout is full of unnecessary padding and channels and other bullshit features. Not even starting on the fact that it always wants me to get my password and do a two factor authentification + captcha on every visit, or that it does not seem to be able to detect my audio devices properly.
Luanti (formerly Minetest) is an open source MC clone.
Though I prefer Vintage Story. It's not FOSS but has a readable source code and, in my opinion, more interesting gameplay.
Vintage Story might be more your jam, especially if you've played & liked the old TerraFirmaCraft total conversion mod for MC, or its TerraFirmaPunk modpack. It's a lot more survival & progression focused.
The annoying thing is that a lot of support or even downloadable content is on Discord exclusively. We've had similar shitty trends with Facebook, Tumblr, etc. and it just is annoying. People claim it's where most people are but ignore the fact that it is impossible to access for everyone who is not.
