  • Here in reality that isn't happening before November (3 months). And Bernie knows it.

Time to put our adults pants on and make adult decisions to attempt to save our democracy. Once the fascists are out we can force the Democrat party in a more progressive direction.

Edit: Downvote common sense statements all you want. You're only highlighting your own ignorance. Everything I stated is undeniably true here in reality. And if you don't think the Democrat party can be reformed, I implore you to review the last 10 years in which conservatives reformed the Republican party in the worst way possible.

  • We have the first amendment

Lol. Stupid Americans voted to give total power to a party that doesn't give a FUUUUUUUUCK about the Constitution.

  • It's what conservatives crave.

  • Has she tried giving his micro-dick a BJ? She doesn't possess the ability to feel shame, so it's an option for her.

  • Who the fuck still uses Snapchat?

    Ditch that shit.

  • "Cave Woman Acts Out As Spotlight Shifts Away"

  • Elect conservatives (regressives), get war crimes.

    And higher costs of living.

    And more transmissible diseases.

    And infringed rights.

  • They're monsters too (not the kids).

They've spent a decade ignoring all facts. All pleas from their family, friends, and fellow Americans to look at things objectively and reasonably. They've sacrificed everything to support a felon rapist pedophile and his sycophants. That makes them monsters too.

  • Hope it hurts.

Pain is the only way conservatives can learn. Not that I'm holding my breath for them to learn anything. I'd have had to hold my breath for over 40 years now.

At this point I'm just hoping nature weeds enough of them out that they can't represent a valid voting block anymore.

  • TRAITOR

He is placing his own opinions over the health of Americans. He is making Americans sick (and dead) to validate his own beliefs. He is a TRAITOR.

  • I've read enough in my life to know that I'd rather be alive now than any other time in human history. I also acknowledge that I'd rather be living where I am than a pretty decent chunk of the rest of the world.

But I also acknowledge that with all the advancements in science and technology things should be a whole hell of a lot better/easier than they are, but they aren't because of the greed of a relatively small percentage of our species preventing us from accessing those advancements and preventing us from achieving further social progress. Things really don't need to be this much of a struggle in the 21st century.

There's no such thing as utopia, but we absolutely have the means to be lot closer to it than we are and that's supremely frustrating. Especially if you're like me and accept that you're not going anywhere other than the permanent void after you take your last breath.

It feels like we're 2 feet from the finish line but our feet have been nailed to the asphalt by assholes who've placed bets against us crossing it.

The bottom line is you have to do what's best for your mental health so you don't suffer every minute of every day. The strategy for that is different for everyone. For me it's keeping close tabs about what's going on in the country/world during the work week when I'm stressed/pissed about being at work anyway, then totally checking out completely on weekends. No social media. No news. Nada.

Personally, I don't think it's right to bury your head in the sand completely. The truth is that if you live in the U.S. we ARE going backwards. Our rights ARE being infringed. Our quality of life WILL decline if we remain on the path we are currently on. But everyone checking out will only accelerate the decline and push us past a point of no return.

Find your strategy. Force yourself to unplug on some sort of recurring schedule so you get the framework of the awful shit happening but maybe not the non-stop gory details. You don't necessarily need every detail in order to maintain your moral compass. And you certainly don't need every detail if you want to keep your sanity.

  • In my experience non-Christians are more Christian than Christians.

They certainly get the "love thy neighbor" thing down better.

  • The last decade has really shown us how much of our system of government is operated on the handshake agreement not to be complete and utter piece of shit assholes to the detriment of our society, and the Republican party has made it abundantly clear they are done with that agreement.

  • A coward and traitor.

  • Mitch "The Bitch" McConnell is a traitor who made a career out of obstructing progress for the American people. It's no surprise that he's chosen to continue obstructing progress as his final act.

It can't come soon enough. Not that the treasonous Republican party is going to offer anyone better to fill his position.

  • Conservative voters value aggression. The GOP knows this. That's why this took place.

  • It wasn't for nothing. It was to make low IQ mouth breathers think they were doing something. Aggression is always a positive for conservative voters. And the Republican party always needs ways to make it look like they're doing something of value for the American people while robbing them blind.

  • By the time AI is capable of finishing buildings it will choose to eradicate us instead.

  • I first need to hold my own legislature responsible

Don't think that's really a thing in America anymore.

It's just a vibe I get. It may have something to do with felon rapist pedophiles running the legislature.
