  • Goodluck trying to search a specific subreddit!

  • NO.

  • YES.

  • I wonder if Trump is - come election time - going to make some claim about deported people having been fraudsters... Perhaps whenever he's accused he'll use these photos to deflect onto others.

  • No, it's just regurgitating stuff other people came up with.... A game that came out recently won't be half as fixable because people won't have written so much about it... And AI will cause less useful information to be created about it.

It can only know what's already been written about.

  • You have had more than 100 dinners total.

  • Have literally caught AI getting Holocaust facts wrong on repeated occasions. Anyone taking it seriously is full of misinformation at this point.

  • This is why I can't be angry at regular criminals, they're just mimicking the world they see at the top.

  • The free association machines played word association again? No way!

"Researchers" once again discover that LLMs aren't intelligent and don't understand what you meant, so are just trying to guess at what your messages were about.

  • Not the nicest thing to do to any terminally ill patients or knife attack survivors.

  • But they were all approved by The Heritage Foundation.

...the same organization that put random interns in charge of Iraq's economy, and that turned out fine right?

  • China eyes islands it can take so there's less monitoring of the nine-dash area.

  • Fully automated rightwing deathcamps when?

  • Oh yeah, like how in the late 1930s Garmany instituted a law that citizens were legally obligated to report on neighbors doing anything suspicious and could be imprisoned if they didn't report on them.

Who was the leader of Germany back then?

...this is also why Germany now has very strict laws protecting people's privacy, and part of why big tech companies are afraid when the EU rules against them.

  • Go back further and you hit some really great trash TV no one is talking about, like Babylon 5, and Renegade. Even just the opening credits to Renegade are classic:

He was a cop, and good at his job. But then he committed the ultimate sin and testified against other cops - gone bad. Cops who tried to kill him but got the woman he loved instead. Framed for murder, now he prowls the badlands. An outlaw hunting outlaws, a bounty hunter - a renegade!

  • They don't, they don't have agency or intelligence.

They use more expert language when the user includes more expert terminology - because that's the nature of how they use context to generate answers.

You use more expert terms, so they draw on training data from more expert source - sources that contain more of that same language.

There is no thought or agency about it. They're not "rewarding" anyone. They're mindlessly reacting based on probability.

  • Okay, so the media is ownsd by the right wing, as is the administration and supreme court, and all the tech billionaires, BUT for some reason the polls are owned by the leftwing?

  • So technically they're your step siblings!
