  • I still don't understand the beef with Les Misérables.

  • Kash Patel is just like Hasan Piker because they both receive a salary from US tax payers, government aircraft, and a security detail where they use it for things like flying to chugg beer in U.S. Olympic hockey players' locker room, or flying to see their girlfriend.

Oh wait...I think Piker isn't actually a government employee embezzling money for pleasure? And there are documented accounts of Patel doing that, like the ones I just linked to?

I barely know who Piker is but I know whataboutism when I see it.

  • Trump's lawyers are in talks with the IRS to resolve president's $10B lawsuit theft

  • I don't want her embarrassed, I want her to face justice.

  • This is why I have an arch btw.

  • I think the terms like liberal is very different in the context of political theory vs how it is currently being used culturally.

However, there are other words that derive and are rooted from this definition, like neoliberalism, which is very different from liberalism, and social liberalism.

In fact, in the us, social liberalism is normally shortened to liberalism so that can cause issues too.

  • A liberal means someone who thinks that they can use the system that is in place, no matter how broken it might be, and make slow gradually progress and change. However, corporate power and others in power have used this desire to use the existing system more as a means of control, exploiting mechanisms like the Overton window and political division. A liberal therefore is often trying to get opposing/bipartisan support to compromise in the hopes it will eventually lead to change while alienating their base who is actively being hurt.

To put it another way, a liberal is someone who will watch their friend get punched in the face and then try to help buy the attacker boxing gloves.

I don't know where this idea of a radical liberal came from, a radical is the literal opposite of a liberal.

However to your point, Steven Miller is in no way a liberal.

Edit: a liberal can be both right or left leaning, so I've updated my comment to better reflect that. It should also be noted that one can shift between the radical/liberal spectrum and is rarely ever static.

Here is a graphic from Full Spectrum Resistance, Volume One: Building Movements and Fighting to Win One to help illustrate what I mean.

  • I predict they will continue.

  • Its ok, gas prices will simply not be used to calculate inflation and the data will be skewed to trend down so that interest rates can be lowered, and more money printing can happen.

  • I only cut my wife's hair, but the only time I would like her to look down is when I'm at the nape of her neck.

  • The most common symptoms from ibotenic-acid containing mushroom ingestions are gastrointestinal symptoms, and CNS depression or excitation, or both CNS depression and excitation. Other symptoms include confusion, dizziness, dysphoria, visual hallucinations, agitation, ataxia, muscle fasciculation, seizures and coma depending on the amount of mushroom consumed. Seizures are generally reported only in pediatric ingestions.

  • Somehow I knew you wouldn't trust or read any source I could provide.

  • Dude, relax and go mushrooming. All I said is it gives you the shits and there are better substances.

  • Firstly, the comic above uses the word psychedelic while showing an Amanita Muscaria. I never called it that but honestly, I'm not an expert and don't know the technical definitions of that type of thing, I'm just a guy that likes mushrooms.

Outside of my personal experience of having about 30 minutes of fun followed by 6 hours of not fun, here is the first result I got when searching for 'amanita muscaria side effects'

Emerging Risks of Amanita Muscaria: Case Reports on Increasing Consumption and Health Risks

People can have all sorts of different reactions to mushrooms, like I've never died from eating raw false morels, but others have.

Do you have a souce that says Amanita Muscaria doesn't give most people nausea and diarrhea?

I have heard however that the juice produced from dehydration has a lot less unwanted side effects, but I didn't bother to test that myself.

  • Maybe you are less susceptible to it, or are ingesting a variety more unique to your region, but nausea and diarrhea are extremely common side effects.
