  • I was wondering why I hadn't been able to access Internet Archive yesterday... Who would take down what is the digital equivalent to the Library of Alexandria? I can only imagine some really childish people who have nothing better to do with their lives. I hope that the website can recover from the attack soon! 🙏

  • 9/10 ghosts recommend this house. The 1/10 said "boo".

  • Moist.

  • Not saying the exact number, but well enough that I could go and buy an X5 right now. I'd rather spend any excess money on charities over materialistic status symbols though, and I've donated a lot of money to research charities in particular.

  • Don't forget the ancient Egyptian bowls with feet! Crazy how hybridization was back then.

  • To be specific, the construction worker needs this many hearts to retrieve it: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    But not like this: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💛💛💛💛💛

The great bulldozer should warn him about this first!

  • I think it really depends on the person. I act the same as I do online as I do offline. I'm not interested in starting drama with anyone, I've been told I'm just a really chill, bubbly and friendly person and I try my best to treat people how I want to be treated, both online and offline! 🙏

  • He cannot copyright it because he didn't make it. He wrote a couple of words into a text box. It's no different from commissioning an artist to draw for you, except in this scenario it is analogous to the artist turning out to be someone who traces other people's art without their consent, and claiming you made the picture.

  • Haven't read the manga as comic books don't interest me all that much, the anime definitely has some questionable things in it but if you can look past that the whole concept of the abyss and the creature designs are great. The design of the turbinid dragons are one of the best I've seen!

  • Made in Abyss - really good but definitely not for the faint hearted and I only recommend this to people who ask me for dark anime with a disclaimer on the more questionable content. The version I watched was the heavily censored one. I was surprised to find out that the creator is Akihito Tsukushi, the same person who did the designs for the Elebits games! Of course, I'm separating the art from the artist here, but his name popping up made me nostalgic in a way.

Neon Genesis Evangelion - If you like biblically accurate angels, this is the anime for you!

Cowboy Bebop - has a very likeable main cast, an artstyle that I find very appealing, and it touches on themes that a lot of people can relate to despite the sci-fi setting!

Scavengers Reign - this one's pretty trippy and has some great creature designs! It only has one season so far (curse ye, Max!)

  • In Spanish the e's are pronounced the same way, and the same applies for German! It's only in English that the e's are all pronounced differently! English is such a weird language, I love it but it's things like this which are hilarious to me.

  • Our retinas are linked up to the portion of the brain that deals with circadian cycles. We evolved to feel more wakeful upon exposure to blue light because that's the color of the sky at midday. Our brains associate red light with sunset, a time where humans have adapted to feel sleepy as opposed to wakeful.

If humans instead evolved on Mars, assuming the lack of an atmosphere and magnetosphere was not an issue, this would be the opposite! Martians would feel more awake on exposure to warmer colored light and sleepy on exposure to blue light, since on Mars, the sunsets are blue!

  • Silly aliens, they don't know how to make their interdimensional portal technology resist these dreaded "mesh bags"... Yet! 👽

  • Wow, that was an actual subreddit? This is new information to me. My goodness... I don't get why some people hate people because they're overweight. It literally does not affect them in the slightest what someone looks like, and people can be overweight for a variety of reasons. We should love eachother, not hate for the pettiest of reasons.

  • Washing machines double as portals to another dimension which is populated by sock loving aliens who want to save the cost of manufacturing their own socks. When socks go missing in the washing machine, the aliens end up getting free and clean ones. The next time you see someone who claims to make washing machines, check if they have an otherworldly affinity for socks.

  • My computer. It was the most expensive one in the store when I bought it, and besides a not so great wi-fi adapter and ageing HDD's, this computer's been amazing for gaming sessions! The only physical console I've touched in years has been the Nintendo Switch due to the exclusives.

  • An aquamarine dress.

  • Not at all! What matters is the person and what they have to say. If it's good content I'll upvote and chime in! 😃
